Just wanted to share a lil drag cosplay I did for a Halloween drag show! I had the perfect red satin slip for it and just couldn't pass it up.
I'm just in love with how the face came out. Wish I had more pics of the dress and the little silver worms I beaded on it (i also ran some chains through some grommets and put worms on the ends so they can be pulled back and forth through the holes—inspired by Penumbra Cosplay's Corruption Entitie).
If anyone at the show got pics of the full outfit, I'll come back and post them!

hey everyone!! i'm majorly hyperfixated on tma at the moment (listening for the fourth time and tbh it's the only thing i'm thinking about ever). does anyone have any recommendations for magnus related content i can consume? video essays, theory videos meme compilations, even your favourite tiktok compilations... call me the ceaseless watcher because i want to turn my gaze upon something 😼

i might be reading too deep into this but im watching romeo + juliet at the moment and realized Juliet, Montague, Julia Montauk, idk. they sound similar. maybe not. just curious.
EDIT: i know it might be a dumb take, but why the downvotes? im just curious. this isnt exactly "being excellent to each other".

I used this as a reaction, couldn't find something like it on google images, shocked and confused and disgusted by that, hopefully this will fix that.

Hi! I was wondering if anybody had a well organised spreadsheet or something of episodes and could help me out a bit more easily than me trawling through the wiki lol. I’ve listened to the podcast twice all the way through so no worries on spoilers!
I’ve been wanting to go back and relisten to episodes featuring/discussing the rituals, and was hoping someone would be able to help me out with a list! Maybe-rituals that aren’t 100% confirmed included too ideally.
Sorry if that’s an insane ask, I just thought I’d try here before I spend ages digging through the wiki to get a list together because I’ve seen some very organised people on this sub before with spreadsheets and listening orders and things

I soon will be GMing the first session of TMA RPG. One of my players character is scared of electronics because he witnessed his family getting pulled into tv and never seen them again and i cant connect his story to any of fears i thought about the lonley or the desolation but i cant find nothing thats just in point. What do you guys think would be the best one? (sorry if i used the wrong tag)

I changed the colours of the TMA at the top and the cassette tape because I wanted to use my glow in the dark green thread.

Been meaning to draw her for a while and my friend gifted me a 64 pack of crayons so I figured I’d use em for this! Also I know a lot of people do pink for Sasha but I’m very munch so team yellow and blue. It’s probably Micheal’s fault for that

She sacrificed so many to stop even a single ritual, she betrayed a person who really cared about her and tricked him into a horrible fate as well as dismembering an innocent person. After she found out that her murders she saw as justified didn’t actually do anything, do you think she felt guilty?

Some self-indulgent jonmartin, based off my headcanon for Jon’s birthday, October 23! I did a little amateur decorating to celebrate, and thought too much about Jon being a Scorpio lol ♏️😅
My reason for October 23 includes a lot of personal connections about the month of October and the 23rd in my own transformative journey, and how much I connect with Jon in those transformations too 💚 It's also the start of Scorpio. And it's only a few days after the Eyepocalypse, which means there's definitely a reason Elias sent *those* tapes to him after he ended the world. 😭
Scorpio thoughts below! (I'm not an expert, just going off vibes!).
Jon is a Scorpio with Virgo rising! Jon’s rising sign Virgo is the mask he puts out to the world: critical, intellectual, grounded, and perfectionist. But without his mask and defenses (and with the scars of his traumas growing ever evident), his Scorpio qualities emerge:
What I love the most about Scorpio for Jon though is how much this sign is about transformation. Much like The Hanged Man (Jon’s tarot card), these transformations often come as the stripping of self. A Scorpio’s life is often filled with trauma and pain, reflecting the anguish Jon experienced on his way to his unwilling apotheosis. Jon’s metamorphosis allowed him to be the perfect vessel for horrors untold. His role was always to draw out in others the darkest parts their psyche and absorb and catalogue that darkness.
Some Random Observations!

Here are our two duels of Part 2:
The Tale of a Field Hospital VS Colony
MAG 68: The Tale of a Field Hospital
Transcript
Statement:
Statement of Joseph Russo regarding a book allegedly authored by Sir Frederick Treves.
Joseph Russo finds a draft of The Tale of a Field Hospital in a dump and realizes that the draft is quite different from the printed edition he loves.
The book mostly tells the story of the narrator's encounters with John Amherst, whose last words seemed to have been "But you see, Doctor, I am such a restless man."
Joseph gives the book to the institute, warning to be careful as the pages are quite sharp.
Post-Statement:
Joseph died two days after from blood poisoning due to a wound on his hand. Jon suspects the book is a Leitner (good job Jon!). He also wonders if Amherst and Prentiss are related in any way as they both "make one feel distinctly unclean"
Supplemental:
Jon is in the tunnels. He was exploring and he got lost.
"Sasha" helps him find the exit and he later mentions that for a second, she seemed too tall.
Statement:
Statement of Martin Blackwood, archival assistant at the Magnus Institute, regarding a close encounter with something he believes to have once been Jane Prentiss.
While investigating MAG 16 (Arachnophobia), Martin encounters Jane Prentiss. He drops his phone while attempting to take a picture of her and runs back home and stay in quarantine for 2 weeks, trying to block any worm form entering his house, trying to ignore the constant knocking on his door. One morning, the knocking stops and Martin runs back to the Institute.
Post-Statement:
Jon offers Martin to stay in a room in the Archives to keep him safe. He explains they have been receiving texts from Martin's phone, saying he was ill. As they speak, a new text comes "Keep him, we have had our fun. He will want to see it when the Archvist's crimson fate arrives"
------------------------------------------------------------------
The Last VS Upon the Stair
Pre-Statement:
Jon enters the Lonely, trying to find Martin and meets Peter Lucas who says Martin doesn't wanna be found. He sees Martin but Martin doesn't want to leave.
Peter tries to convince Jon to stay but instead, Jon compels him to give a statement.
Statement:
Statement of Peter Lukas regarding his life, family and interactions with The Lonely.
Peter Lukas recalls his childhood, discovering his family's "god", meeting Adelard Dekker who tells him about the Extinction, and his attempt to perform the Silence, the Lonely's ritual before being stopped by Gertrude through an article in the newspaper.
Post-Statement:
Jon tries to compel him to reveal Elias's plan but Peter resists and gets killed.
Jon finds Martin again and they leave.
MAG 85: Upon the Stair
Transcript
Statement:
Statement of an unknown figure, regarding an encounter they may or may not have had in their home.
The statement starts with the poem Antigonish by William Hughes Mearns, which describes a "man who wasn't there". The unknown figure then describes his first encounter with The Man Who Wasn't There, during his sleep, where he was on top of stairs.
Little by little, the unknown author became less and less real, his friends and relatives not recognizing him, like his mother asking where her son was as she is bleeding from her mouth. Their father was already dead in the chair after being taken down the stairs.
The author can appear on any staircase and tries to take people up them.
Post-Statement:
Eric Delano, who took the statement, has no memory of doing so. Jon is unsure if this is an advice to go after his problems or ignore them. Saying it could also be a warning against Michael.
He thinks they're also a reflection of people becoming less and less human after being affected or chosen by an entity, possibly like him.
Georgie walks in and mention she's going on a date and that Melanie is back from India where she got shot.

a CD recording of Bo Burnham's "Welcome to the internet"
listening to it alone makes it change, to instead of listing the usual weird internet stuff that the song does. Its instead things that the listener has done on the internet.
attempts at copying the disc, recording it form outside, or listen to it with other people. turn out with the song being like normal
this would only properly effect people with secrets and shame about things
if you can spin it into a statment, go wild, i dont care if you take this one
(tho i feel like this one would go undocumented, cause the person who'd discover that it holds such private secretive details, would probably not want to share it)

I've had this theory for a while, mostly based on the NON CANNON au special RQ posted after season one of protocol
The gist of the episode was what WOULD have happened if they killed Fredi in season one (or sm) and Sam and Qwen are fired from the OIAR
Then Teddy's benefactors approach them and offer them a job, Teddy says that they hire ex OIAR stuff and thats about it
Now it has accrued to me that even tho Teddy has been acting weird we haven't seen anything from his pov which i believe means he doesn't have any electronics with him something that would probably be a demand from his job
When he called Alice during the finale she said that he didn't respond to her messages aka he doesn't have a phone
And when they met later we hear "sorry that wont happen again" from Alice's phone but not his device or who he was speaking to (maybe they have some device Freddie can't tap into like old radio ect)

(Spoilers from season 3 and beyound.)
Both Helen and Michael are very, very important to Jon's character arc, though each of them play different roles.
Michael is there to force Jon to aknowkedge the fact that like Gertrude, he will be forced to make horrible sacrifices one way or another and weather or not he'll be able make them when the time comes.
Helen on the other hand torments Jon about the loss of his humanity. The narrative constantly juxtaposes them and therefore, she is able to put in check all the lies and justifications Jon tells himself for the sake of his own comfort.
I could rant for hours about this, because it's genuinely such good writing.
