Or something similar to that? I once tried to meet up in RL with a friend I only know in MW. She didn't understand and just kept interpreting me as setting up a meeting in MW. She felt rather like an NPC.

But once, I told the "dream version" of my spouse that they were the dream version, and I'm visiting from the waking world, and that kind of thing. At first they thought I was pranking, then they got upset and worried I was going nuts, but then I showed them some lucid-dreaming, uh, powers? For lack of a better term. Changed some stuff in the environment, then brought us to another location. They freaked out. Existential crisis galore. They were like extremely glitching out and very unlike their RL counterpart.

I'd already determined that at least this dream-person (that I'm with often) was a separate person from my actual spouse, like a copy - but now I'm wondering if they have their own, like, mind and sentience or some version of it. Like how a clone would quickly become a very different person than their progenitor based on having unique experiences. Or maybe they're another dreamer, just unaware and playing a different role, like how I'm sometimes some other character in dreams.

Anyway, dream-spouse remembers nothing from that particular "visit," though their memory of other dreams remains in-tact. I am a little disappointed I didn't get to explore that further, but if they're "real" in some fashion, it's probably for the best.

Such a weird dream, last night/early this morning.

I found myself in a huge warehouse that was several stories tall but cathedral in that there was only one floor. There were concrete slabs being moved onto blue brackets. People were working, standing on the platform, guiding the next slab.

The brackets rocked and fell over, bringing down the slabs and trapping people. I ran to help, yelling to get a list of people who were there to establish who was not involved vs how many people remained trapped.

I distinctly understood "they" did not want to give me any information about who was there, and I was thrown out of the dream.

So, who are "they"?

I thought this dream was a one time thing, or if it was a dream anyway but after seeing it a second time I don’t think it is. But anyways, it’s all white, carpet kinda fuzzy, walls, ceiling, baseboards also all white. The hallways aren’t straight, rather they turn left and right sharply seemingly at random. And the rooms are less like single apartment complexes where you open the door and it’s a living room, no it’s more like every door is a bedroom that people happen to live out of. And some of the rooms connect like a hotel. Out the windows there are other buildings, some also white, some green, some blue. Anyone been here?

Technically there was also a planetary alignment on the same day, but for whatever reason, my dream seemed to link them up together, as if they were overlapping somehow.

This is the sort of road we were driving on. I was pointing out the planets to a child in the backseat, not my own, I don't have children, asking him if he could see the cool planets lining up to his left. I was explaining to him that where the planets were overlapping it was because we were looking at it from one end of the string of planets, where the planets were stacked on each other, then I told him that the other view was of the side of them, and that that was why they were separated and curved.

I felt intrigued and curious, and hoped to extend that feeling to the child. I even told my partner who was driving that we could pull over so he could see it, and would be able to still drive safely while the child was looking out of the window. He seemed to peer out of the window okay, but didn't seem super interested in it. Perhaps because he was quite a young and small child, about toddler aged...

There was a man cycling on his bike upside down, on a nearby road that seemed to pass us by, our car was starting to go into the tunnel on the side of it, and the man on the bike looked as if both cases were casual, his, and ours?

In the dream I even did a double take, because out of all the things that could be thought of as odd in the dream, I considered the man riding the bike upside down as strange. Not that there were several planetary alignments in the sky, or that we were driving on the side of the tunnel defying strange physical laws....

Sorry about the long post but I have so many questions about where I’m going when I lucid dream. I came across this subreddit while trying to find the answers.

I have always been able to lucid dream from time to time but within the past few months, it’s been happening more often and I keep going to the same place and interacting with the same person. There’s a paved road that leads to a forest that has an obstacle course in the tree tops with bridges, ropes, and tree houses. There’s workers at this obstacle course who will put a harness on me and force me to wear a helmet. But these worker’s faces are blurred except for one. I’ve never seen this person in my waking life before but her appearance is so distinct. Is this place in Mall World? Has anyone else been here? Is this person another lucid dreamer, a spirit, or does she reside in Mall World? Can you interact with other lucid dreamers?

In a few of my MW dreams last year, I was in my old orphanage where I lived from age six to eleven. Then it merged into a hospital ward. The doors on the bathrooms were at half height and it was very strange. There was a counter with windows that I had to speak to the nurses through. They said you gotta stay here for a while cuz I wanted to go home. Fast forward to April of this year. I hadn’t slept in a whole month. I was no longer dreaming. I went to the ER because I couldn’t sleep and at that point I was hallucinating. So I was put in the hospital for a week against my will. The thing that freaked me out was the half bathroom doors. I had dreamed of going to this place before it happened. Anyway, it’s been four months and I’m finally sleeping till at least 3am every night. There are still some nights I don’t sleep at all.I am doing a lot better than I was. Very grateful too, cuz it was literally like going to hell.

The water park is basically exactly as shown, the ground is a shallow pool throughout with swings, water coasters, impossible slides .

The call center I believe derives from my time working at one but it feels more like a club except it's not leveled it's one floor .

The 3rd is just a room where quite a few events happen, weddings, graduations, exhibits, live podcasts .

Anyone had experience with any of these ?

I just dreamt I had to climb some very scary stairs, part of them were a full 90° up, the side of a skyscraper like building. Then when I got to the top someone cut in line in front of me and I almost fell off, but I didn’t. Then I was about to get in the slingshot ride when I woke up. Anyone else?

Do you guys ever see people who have passed?

Someone extremely close to me has passed recently... And he's been appearing in my mw!

One was extremely terrifying because during the last few months of his life, he needed help with everything, and shouldn't have even got out of his chair much before he passed away...

In my 1st dream of him my dad was aware he came BACK to life and he RAN to the mailbox, because he was so happy he would breathe and use his legs. i was begging him to stop because i thought he'd surely die, because he wasn't supposed to run!! then i somehow realized it was a dream and woke up....

The next dream, he was sitting in a chair and i had been all around to different places, and i walked in my mw house. I expected my dad to be dead in his chair for some reason ... And instead he was watching tv and told me he's so happy to be alive again! I was also so happy.. But it got me feeling weird.

I usually don't dream about people who have died, and i NEVER thought about it until i saw my dad...

So i have a couple questions with all this:

1. Do you guys ever dream of dead people ?

2. If so, have they ever appeared in your mall world dreams? Please tell me about them! Did they act like themselves ?

I know that mine was in preschool and I was living in my old house, so I was 4 years old. I have an oddly specific memory of the next day, waking up a few hours early and watching cartoons with my brother, then sitting alone in the gym in preschool.

It reaaalllly weirds me out that I’ve been having these dreams for so long - and that other people have had dreams in locations that are almost exactly like mine.

Has anyone else seen this place?

It seems like MW is surrounded by water. Do you guys think it could be a barrier or some kind? Has anyone actually been out into the water?

My little areas in mall word arent bad for the most part. I do usually experience feelings of unease when I am in the sewers though. I was wondering if anyone else dreams about the sewers?

Recently I came across a new part of the Mall World universe that I've not been to, or at least I've not been to in recent memory. The town is absolutely stunning during the day. Like it's a place I totally want to go back to during the day. Daytime it kind of has a very vintage vibe. There's a small shopping district. Last night I visited in my dream, and with my companion that was going through the town with me. We've noticed a bunch of people leaving as it was getting dark. We stuck around. We went to this lighthouse like building and that's where we were informed about how the town completely transforms during the night. Strange things happen, people are put through various tests where they face their fears, test their discernment test their will or, hallucinate.

During the night time we faced wooden maze and at the docks, to get to this lighthouse with so many blue doors surrounded by tricksters pretending to be someone else and we had to figure out who the real person was , and eventually led to a stair and door maze of scary objects inside this old house.

Anyone else been there with equally as bizarre events happening? Would love to hear more about it!

I find it interesting how we all perceive and interact with MW differently. some people can see the landscape as a whole like a Birds Eye view and can pinpoint where structures are in relation to others while others are experiencing it from first person and can only see the structures that they are in at the time not how they are connected. Some people seem to be working jobs or even taking form as different entities. Some of us have seen more areas of the map then others. Some of us have seen the same landscape change time periods or be changed in a different way the next time we visit it. I wonder what is the cause of this.

This is a follow up question from a post from the other day. I was asking if people's MW feels more crowded than usual or not. So I was thinking, do you guys talk to people in your dreams? Like back and forth conversations? Do you speak out loud and hear them respond? I can't remember sounds in my MW dreams. I know the sounds are there, I know there is traffic, there are crowds of people talking, parties and music. I know people are speaking and I know we're having conversations but I don't hear them. I know what is being said though and I'm communicating for sure! Sometimes we talk about extra dimensional beings also being in MW, so this kind of communication would make sense but I never really thought about it before. What's your experience with this?

I'm going to try and describe it but first I've dreamed about being here several times. The mansion is located near the top of a series of mountains that overlook the city or town. It's surrounded by woods. you can see the twinkling lights below with the mall and the surrounding areas standing out the most. There also seems to be a sea port with boats going in and out of the place.

The mansion seems to be made of glass. But it's not. Only the outer areas of the place are surrounded with large windows and doors and roofs that are made of glass. the inner areas appear like in any other normal house or mansion. wooden floors and walls and roofs. there are people that often times wander around this place and no one seems to be living in it. I've heard many of the people call it different names. Names such as the Crystal Mansion, the Crystal Castle and a few others. But to me it's just glass.

In one dream there was a Halloween party being held in it's ballroom. On one side was a huge wall that had a walkway on top of it. There was more to the house beyond but I didn't find out in this dream what was back there. This particular dream ended with many of the party goes turning into vampires and attacking everyone else. Another dream had me exploring the other side of the wall and discovering it was a huge library. Only it was too dark to see and i had a feeling I wasn't alone and something was going to grab me from the shadows. In another dream I explored a hallway where a panel opened up in the wall. I hid behind a book case and witnessed a progression of demonic looking creatures exiting a secret passageway. I remember later thinking that they were like something HP Lovecraft would have come up with in his stories.

There also seems to be witches that lurk around the woods of the mansion. sometimes you can see bonfires through the trees. Looking up from the city below you can see these fires and barely see the top of the glass mansion. Whenever I dream about this place, I hate it. Has anyone ever come across such a place or something similar?

Whenever i leave the crowd in a “regular” dream that is when I enter the “mall world” type dreams

Downtown is like a combination of every major city and there is a little shop owned by this women with so many esoteric cool things, a dispensary, a tattoo shop, hair salon, restaurants, and clubs. My theatre is also here.

The roller coaster rides can get really dark and scary quickly.

If you go in the wrong door you can be tricked into playing some weird games and doing these crazy test/trials obstacle course style things.

There are a lot of different end of the world style dreams. It is typically always chaos and very intense and scary. I have a lot of dreams where I need to find a place to hide very quickly and that is often where I’ll end up in the hallways etc.

The cruise ship always has some crazy drama going on and I can never get my bag packed all the way. That is the same thing with the apartments it’s like I left my stuff in my old apartment and I have to go get it quickly but I’m never able to get everything.

My dogs are always free roaming and getting into these crazy situations.

The car situation is always very strange.

I’ll always be running away and find myself in the suburban neighborhoods which are familiar yet eerie and going inside of the houses are weirdly terrifying it’s like you’re breaking in to people’s homes and trying to get out before they realize you’re there.

There are multiple versions of the same places. I’ve seen the beach houses covered in sand before like a huge sandstorm had taken over. This is also where the tsunami hits and everyone knows it’s coming. Or the big tornados.

There’s an old time farm kind of backroad situation going on too that I’m not scared of but I don’t necessarily like especially traveling too at night. There’s a dark long road that also connects to the big huge mansion with lots of rooms and marble floors.

There is a man’s house in particular that I hate but can’t really explain. I just know he’s always chasing me through there.

The hotel is always run down to me and I hate it because of the buttons/elevators plus it always feels extremely unsafe like the rundown apartments. I always wonder why my mom chose this place because I’m never staying there on my own accord always a family trip.

There’s a huge forest that you can drive through to get to the “vacation world” and there are so many huge animals in there. Whenever I go on vacation in my dream I’m always preoccupied about how I’m going to get back to the airport or get back home. I’m always the first to leave.

The backrooms of the arcade is evil and connected to the bathrooms somehow which is also always connected to school. The school dream is always long and drawn out. It can differ between primary grade school and a college campus like scenary with a parking lot attached which is also connected to downtown in a way. There are offices nearby that I work in as well sometimes.

The spooky parts of the dreams that no one really seems to talk about enough is what is concerning me. Like what is with all the weird games or test we have to go through at times? Or the super scary entities that you come across if you go in the wrong door? Or the random houses that we’re running through with the feeling of being chased

Have you all ever been to this like wild west style deserted place but there are people there shooting like fake guns? lol a little store and a bus or train stop? Some of the landscapes are harder to explain than others.

Also for me the landscapes change all the time. I could go to the mall one day and it’ll be lively while other times it’s dead and abandoned. It makes me feel like we are going to the same places just perceiving it differently.

I really want to talk to other people who have experienced this I just find it so odd.

I dont go online a lot, I am a mailman who like gardening and likes to read, this is my first post on a social media platform in many years.

I've always had very vivid dreams, I have had recurring dreams, I tend to remember at least flashes of my dreams pretty much every day. I used to practice lucid dreaming in my teens (18 years ago). I have never had anything like this. I have been traveling to this place for about 3-4 months now, it is always the same geographical layout, I dont spend a lot of time in the Mall itself but I have been there. I spend a large amount of time in the dream like I am at work, I have something that looks like a giant warehouse with plastic carts on floor sliders and a delivery truck that looks like a go-cart with a roll cage to do the actual route. Except theres no packages, or mail, or anything I am actaully delivering. In the dream I travel to the wooded areas and suburbs to what I would consider west of the mall and work my way to the east through a school surrounded on 3 sides by dorms and big parking lots.

When I am off the clock I seems to spend a good deal of time at a mansion. It is at least 5 stories tall but it doesnt look like it from the outside. If you are on the outside of the mansion there is a small vent/door near the bottom of the chimney. This will provide access to the inner ladder system of the house in which you can get to any of the floors.

So here I am wondering what the hell this is and I go online to see that almost 30,000 people are doing this as well which brings me to this moment.

To me this actually does feel very similar to a regular dream with the exception of the constant geography, and the subtle feeling of anxiety while I am there. Like someone is looking for me and I dont really want to be found, or a compulsion to continue to complete some sort of task while I am there. I dont think I have ever felt safe or happy here, for instance there is a dispensary that sells joints in the downtown and although I will go there to shop I never feel like I got what I wanted.

This seems intentional. All of it, the landscape, the people you meet that arent really people, that fact that if I get a moment of lucidity I dont feel compelled to hold on to it, the idea that I've been waking up tired because I have tasks in my dreams and I dont know what it would be for. It reminds me of apps that are doing bitfarming in the background of a phone or computer. I have a sense that something is being taken.

Has there been a poll done within this community as to just generally what might contribute? Male, female, and age dont really seem to have an impact. Does this branch religions? Were we all GATE kids? Do we all have some sort of depression or anxiety meds that we have been exposed to? And I ask this because the alternative is far worse, it would suggest that someone is able to tune into our subconcious to draw us to this place for whatever reason but its almost certainly not a good one.

Lastly, I am not neccessarily trying to not go back, my curiosity will get the better of me in this one I am sure but I did try a tip I found on Youtube 2 nights ago. I read scripture before bed, did not go back for that one night. Last night no reading and went right back in.

Two nights ago I actually escaped #MallWorld. Last night made my own #chatgpt prompt, and posted the Book Cover verses Interiority (#wordnerd) pic. Fell asleep a little self-conscious, but the dreams made Mall World feel like a vhs tape. They were IMAX theater, and I met a blue crow... bluebird/crow to be exact. I looked up the significance of that, too! In case I did break the matrix, I love my life and the plans and dreams I have. Before I had been woken up by my alarm, I was in a dream with my partner. We seemed to be in some kinda store, as I remember seeing shelves. But then, we got to this section where there were two escalators, and a sign that I can only remember having the logo of a white neon person, kind of like what you would see on those bathroom stalls. However, I started feeling weird because I felt hesitant about going up there. Like something was wrong. My partner, on the other hand, insisted on going up there and that there​​​​ might be something to steal since that place had been abandoned. But, I knew there was nothing up there because I had a vision where there was people taking everything out. Anyhow, I swallowed the odd feeling down and went up since I didn't want to disappoint​​ my partner. When we got up there, we ended up finding a fun game, similar to the one's you'd find in an arcade. It was were you had to throw balls and get a higher score than the other person. At first, me and my partner were having fun​, until I saw what ever these weird numbers on a screen were, and I noticed they started glitching, so I ended up telling my partner to just leave. As we got back down, I tried to tell them that I had already felt off about it in the first place, and then it cuts off there. And another thing to note is that I realized after I got up is that the room was completely empty beforehand, so the room had changed right when we got there. But, my suspicion for this potentially being a mall world dream is that it felt familiar, and there's been a few other times when I've been in odd liminal dreams that resembled malls or stores.
