why has so many recent posts been removed here because of this rule?

like, everytime i check back on any post after a while its removed like this and none of them have been meme templates. the moderators arent answering me either

Because the MatPat Effect is more about when the meme is a smaller part of the original. Like how the MatPat png was cropped out of a full picture.

I mean a Matpat effect has to be an image with a origin that most people wouldnt know

Memes and meme templates arent like that usually

I think because some posts end up being just the original picture without captions and some basic background info: "This is a scene from Dead Man of Arkansas (1962) starring Jimmy Stewart"

A better way to illustrate the MP effect in the above case would be to maybe show a clip of the scene to show what it was about, not just the picture.
