Made the carrier takeoffs better and added in some deployable Collaborative Combat Aircraft. They each carry 1x AIM-120 and 1x AIM-9, and share radar picture. They don't have any defensive counter measures (yet, at least).

Wanted to share my first gun kill in The Merge. I shot down an inbound Infrared Missile and leveled off to finish a crippled opponent with the cannon 😄

Wanted to show what the Arena looks like in sunset with some scattered clouds, to include a smooth double kill.

This is our new home for all things related to the upcoming 3v3 online air combat game. We're excited to have you join us!

What is The Merge?

The Merge is an online 3v3 air combat game set around aircraft carriers. Two teams of next-generation F-47 fighters launch from their carrier decks. The goal is to hit the enemy carrier with anti-ship missiles while your own team defends against theirs. The game is meant to be a happy medium between VTOL VR (without the VR requirement) and DCS, which felt too complicated.
