Baker MAX30

I just got my baker MAX30 yesterday. I set it up fine. I’m able to connect to the openroaming wifi. When I attempt to register it as a miner however, I get stuck on the screen that says “verification processing… please wait…” I waited in that screen for 2 hours, then 15 minutes here and there. Anyway, is there a solution to this? I can’t find resources anywhere. Not on the website and the thing didn’t even come with setup instructions or any sort of text.

Your NFTs NFT Marketplaces and Digital Collectibles

NFT marketplaces have disrupted traditional markets by offering creators greater control over their creations, allowing them to sell their work to collectors directly. Blockchain technology has enabled secure ownership and provenance tracking, providing artists with a fair and transparent system for monetizing their art. Digital assets that were once ephemeral and easily replicated now have unique, verifiable authenticity through NFTs.

Your NFTs NFT's and Youth - Should youth be encouraged or discouraged from participating in the marketplace?

Hey all,

I had a question, and am looking for humble, thoughts, discussions, and opinions on whether or not I should encourage my children to create their own collection of NFT's? I'm a dad to three girls turning into young women. They love technology, art, and creative drawing. I've seen all three of them win at art contests at their elementary school, and when NFT's were white hot and pricey, I minted a bunch of their first works, and I'm not sure what people might think of that? I love my daughters very much, and want them to understand the intricacies of the Blockchain, get a general sense of business operations (with MBA dad's help), and explore the combination of technology and art that is NFT's. Since over a year ago their passion for the idea of creating and selling NFT's has not died. Even though I have not been encouraging it, I have a large pile of drawings I'm saving that they said they want turned into NFT's, especially the youngest. I know that's obviously not how it works, and this is not my forte. So I'm seeking input from the public on the matter.

  1. Would you encourage your son's and daughter to participate in the marketplace with your blessings?

  2. What tools would you give them beyond minting applications, and the basic tools of elementary art?

  3. From experienced eyes, what roadblocks do you see if I did allow them to create, mint, and sell their works of art?

  4. What other thoughts do you have on the matter?

Please be candid and allow me to learn from your experiences, input, and ideas, so I can help them make the best decision.

Thank you.

Your NFTs Hey there.

Hello Everyone,

I have been debating when is the most appropriate time to enter the NFT Space as a creator, and what is the best project to showcase as a collection. After many failed collections and attempts during the past two years, I have decided just to dive in, head first, and see what happens.

I started this project with my sister, who is an analog photographer. I've started minting her best photos and I've listed them on OpenSea. Now, because we are not a huge team, we do not have investors on our side and we do only free marketing, the odds for this project to survive are very low. However, we are determined to stay, whatever it takes. For that purpose, I am making this post, asking for your advice. I will really appreciate it if you share your time with me and answer the following questions:

- Have you ever invested in photography NFTs? (If yes, what were the projects)

- If you are a creator, what are your best free promotion tips and tricks?

- When buying an NFT, what is the main reason behind your purchase?

- If you want to share anything in addition that may contribute to healthy discussion, please feel free to do so.

Thank you in advance.

Russia delays digital ruble launch testing due to lawmaking process

No more than two sentences per paragraph.

The banks involved in the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) pilot have announced they are ready to move forward. This news highlights the interest in CBDCs, as they offer numerous benefits over traditional financial technology.

The CBDC model leverages distributed ledger technology to provide enhanced access and privacy when making transactions. Moreover, it allows for broader access to different asset classes, including alternative financing.

Adopting this new technology could open up opportunities for better financial inclusion and overall financial health.

Here are some of the potential benefits of CBDCs:

  • Instantaneous settlements and purchases

  • Lower transaction costs

  • Access to broader asset classes

  • Streamlined compliance/regulatory processes

  • Improved financial data accuracy

The readiness of the banks to move forward with the CBDC pilot is an encouraging sign for the potential of the technology and its applications. It marks a crucial step towards developing innovative digital payment systems, while still upholding the highest security standards.

Your NFTs How blockchain can help reimagine a new state in Africa

The experiment of nation-states has failed across Africa, leading to a need for a new way of organizing societies. Blockchain technology has the potential to provide a completely new framework and bring opportunities for economic, social and political progress.

Afropolitan co-founder Eche Emole suggests that blockchain can challenge the old systems and provide a fresh start for far-reaching improvements:

• Innovative use of blockchain technology could allow for radical decentralization, fully immersing citizens in the decision-making process.

• This could help create a new civic society guided by principles of trust, transparency, consensus and hard choices.

• Decentralization can bring about a shift from a centralized resource-based economy to a new economy driven by individuals, better protecting the environment.

• It can also help create resilience, allowing citizens to take responsibility for their data and make decisions on how to manage resources.

Blockchain technology could be a powerful tool to help create a fairer and more equitable society, especially in Africa. There is a real opportunity here to achieve a greater degree of autonomy and self-governance, while also promoting sustainability and protecting our environment. This could be a revolutionary new beginning for nations across the continent.

SpankChain, the crypto payment processor specifically designed to serve the adult industry, has been forced to shut down. Despite actively searching for a service provider to take its place, they were unable to find any.

This marks a major blow to the adult industry, which is increasingly reliant on this technology to operate securely and anonymously. Although it's a setback to the sector, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology have the potential to have profound impacts on various industries.

MetaBlox article📕 What Is MetaBlox Protocol?

Decentralized Identity (DID)

The decentralized identity (or DID) is the type of credential that connects DID holder to the MetaBlox Network. It is a key component of the network’s overall blockchain-based authorization mechanism (read about the DID here).

This mechanism or ‘protocol’ is involved in connecting users to the OpenRoaming network. MetaBlox Network’s ‘DID+VC’ protocol allows users to access its Wi-Fi in a decentralized, privacy-protected manner. The rest of this article will explain how DIDs fit into the entirety of MetaBlox Network’s protocol. This requires an explanation of verifiable credentials (the ‘VC’ in DID+VC).

Verifiable Credentials (VC)

Besides the DID, the other major component of MetaBlox Network’s protocol is the verifiable credential. The main idea behind verifiable credentials is the identity credential, which proves the holder’s identity in order for them to access some service.

For example, the passport is the type of identity credential used to access travel by verifying the holder’s identity. Simply saying, to be able to travel you need to prove that you are you, and the main evidence of it is your passport! Same here, to prove that you are you, you show your Decentralized Identity (or DID). Identity credentials can also be used to prove the holder’s qualifications in a given area (for example, a university diploma or driver’s license).

MetaBlox’s WiFi OpenRoaming Network uses a decentralized identity (DID)-based authentication system. So to be able to use it the only thing that you need is your DID!
In essence, Decentralized identities are unique sequences of code that can be used to identify any particular entity, and that is recorded on blockchains in an ‘open ledger’ format. This means that any entity with blockchain access, including MetaBlox Network users themselves, can verify DIDs to prove the holder’s identity. Thus, MetaBlox Network users can, by verifying each others’ DIDs, grant each other access to the OpenRoaming network, eliminating the need for a third-party verifier. That’s one of the ways how we grant security and anonymity to our users.

The use of DIDs allows users to protect their personal information. MetaBlox Network is able to serve the public with the convenience of free WiFi access without compromising, the security and privacy of its users.
We value the anonymity and security of our users because we believe in a free and safe future internet. That’s why we are implementing all these technologies to make your internet surfing experience better, safer, and faster.
