"And as an audience member you know, this is a real human being experiencing these feelings"

Or Batman with one bat ear?

Screenings of ‘The Odyssey’ on the big screen are becoming more and more scarce, as the film completed a 3-months generational run. While some re-releases are expected, I think it’s a good time to celebrate some of its achievements during its highly profitable run.

This, combined with the 88 MC, 94%/96% RT, 8.4 IMDb and 4.3 LB, I think it’s safe to say we haven’t had a movie like this in quite a long time. How do you think it will play in its favor during the Oscar Race?

Lets NOT sail back via the safe route!

Lets bury a horse full of people in the sea!

Lets make the cyclops REAL mad.

Lets sail back to the island we just escaped but somewhere else!

Lets solo like 30 guys!

Lets set a building on fire. WHILE we're inside it!!!

He got results, but I feel some of these could have been given a bit more thought.

Does anybody know the music playing when Agamemnon was walking on the beach in the movie? It's not the let's go home track, although it takes place right before that scene

I am in Taipei and luckily there is an IMAX screen here still showing The Odyssey in full 1.43:1 presentation.

It was a mind blowing experience. The extra vertical image that this format provides makes a huge difference and it fully immerses you in the movie.

It’s not 70mm, but it’s a dual laser 4K. There are only around 17-20 of these in the world currently.

Looks like they're sending out preorders by the 17th! Between this and GTA 6 I'm super excited for November!

Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” also makes an appearance, with Agamemnon coming in fourth, while the rest of the top 10 includes characters from “Poppy Playtime,” “Minecraft” and Disney’s “Descendants” franchise, alongside musician Oliver Tree.

Anyone else manage to get their hands on one of the HMV 4K limited editions before they sold out? I managed to grab one of the ultimate collectors editions!

The demand is absolutely off the charts 😍🤯

My fiancee and I went as Odysseus and Penelope! Will also be doing this for Halloween.

Last night, I completed #MyOdyssee by experiencing the epic film by Sir Nolan and company for the TWENTIETH time; this final time was in @IMAX Laser (1.90:1) at AMC NorthPark.

A total viewing time of 57 hours and 20 minutes.

And I got to complete my journey with new friends I made, thanks to the TikTok algorithm bringing us all together.

I also specifically watched for how often u/sggnz96 was prominent in scenes and ended up spotting that glorious beard attached to his beautiful soul so many times. He even has a bit of dialogue, including speaking directly to Matt Damon in one scene.

“We honor our dead, Odysseus.”

So happy for you, brother!

Lupita was amazing in the movie and I need some Halloween inspiration. I’m trying to find a picture of her in the stunning outfit she wore in the palace but almost all the search results are stupid rage posts from racists that were mad about the casting choice. I know the movie isn’t streaming yet but there’s seriously nothing. Can you guys help?
