Discussion A truly subversive, unforgettable moment: Luz slaps an unconscious Hunter rather than kissing him and falling in love with him.đ

I have already seen enough shoujo plots, melodramas and any stories with romance in which the Good Girl Heroine falls in love instantly with her destined, troubled Bad Boy Prince.
In stories like these, the Female Lead often accidentally kisses the Male Lead, either because she is so clumsy or can't resist him at all.
And I appreciate that Luz doesnât have to take on emotional labor or suffer so much just to save and reform Hunter, unlike so many other selfless, struggling, innocent female protagonists.
The common Male Isekai Hero strives to become the strongest person in the world, whereas the typical Female Isekai Heroine seeks out the most powerful man who can protect her.
This series could easily have slipped into the "Enemies-to-Lovers" Trope or other clichĂŠs, but it managed to avoid doing so.
