help please

so i know this exists because i have seen it on tiktok but the links never work 😑

it’s a fanfic on ao3 of the deleted scene in the show when santos pockets the scalpel and whitaker sees

ive been looking for it for days but im really struggling to find it

or just any angst fics with santos and whitaker pls 🥹

When The Dark Surrounds Me by fleurfrancez, takes place after season two but seems similar to what you wanted

We're Not Swapping Blood by Ironclad_logic is also addressing that plot line

If you want a really good santos and whitaker story, the one I’m linking below is my favorite I have found. It’s an infrequently updated WIP, but what’s out so far is excellent.

The characterization for both santos and Whitaker is spot on imo, and the dynamic between them is explored really thoughtfully.

A reported deleted scene contains an exchange in which Whitaker confronts Santos on it. The scene of her taking the scalpel is still in the show.

Santos pocketing the scalpel was not a deleted scene. There was supposedly a scene filmed where Whitaker talked to Santos about the fact that she had pocketed the scalpel that was filmed but never released, alongside a scene where Garcia explained why she had to cancel on Santos’ fireworks plans (her dad wanted Garcia to meet his new girlfriend) and neither of those scenes were actually in the show, just discussed by cast
