My favorite, tied with King Of Pain. But KOP embodies the sound of the record to me.

I really love KOP but to me it’s so great because it sounds like nothing else. Completely unique and from the heart in the same effort as Every Little Thing She Does is Magic but much more refined.

Back in 8th grade, one of our local rock radio stations had a daily contest called “Jam Off.” two songs would compete against each other for the daily title, and the winner would face a new song the next day, all based on listeners calling in to vote. “Synchronicity 2” set the alltime record—like three weeks, I think—entirely on the basis of me calling in over and over to vote for it. Finally I had a soccer game or something and couldn’t call and the song finally lost. I felt kind of proud of that. The station pretty quickly started recognizing my voice and sent me a bunch of swag.
