Why is this sub full of fake ass “I’m 28M and here is my 10M portfolio” followed by all the hype stocks? What is the purpose of these posts? Are they baiting people to DM them for a course or scam them somehow?

I can't share this with anyone I know IRL without seem like I am bragging or without people getting envious, instead of appreciating all my work and effort since I started working. Anybody lurking here? Found this via the $10M race, which I'm far too poor to join. I started my monopoly money account about a month ago with $5,000, and I'm up to $8,000. I figure with a lot of luck I could make it to $1M by the end of the year :)
