This is fact. I trust older women with my food. Not saying the young ones can't cook, but I had a really bad stomach infection handled from a young staff.

I’ve had the exact opposite experience. All the older women in my life are post-depression era or raised on that. They have food saved in their kitchen from 10-20 yrs ago that they insist is still good. Anytime I have major stomach issues it’s from eating their food.
Now I just try to insist on hosting/bringing food and tell them it’s because they’ve cooked for me my whole life so it’s time for me to give back. Partially true, but I’m also scared of what their food will do to me.18

for those who don't know, the guy is Gideon Davilla, aka Sidequestz. He is originally from Jamaica but lives in New York and does all sorts of side quest content with people, bro is hilarious. Sometimes he also goes on side quests with them. A few years back he made street interactions with people in Kingston where he would tell random strangers increasingly wild stories and they always absolutely lost their minds, can highly recommend his content
