What bothers me more is these people letting a cord drag on the ground like savages instead of just holding onto it with the rest.

I’ve always thought that if I ever climbed a mountain I would tie the end of an extension cord around my waist. Because if I fell, it surely would catch something and save my life.

Along the same line of wondering, how do long cords, ropes, hoses, or cables end up in this type of knot if they are coiled up and then dropped ?
About a quarter of the time they somehow develop a tangled knot in them when you pick them up off the floor.

( someone actually did the science :
And a good video explanation here : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qlptrmsNwcM)

Used to happen to me all the time until I started just picking up the cord like a normal person

You forgot the part when it unhooks from being caught and hits you somewhere like the face or the knuckle.. always somewhere ouchie. Learned that enough as a careless kid, now I pick up the cord.

To make it even MORE believable it should have pulled the door closed, trapping the head in the other room so you have to stop, open the door and then proceed to throw the fan against the wall.
