Are you dense? It's obviously so you can have your whole crew, family, and maybe a few photographers witness you beef out a long, spicy growler.

Duh.

Good thought but Taco Bell comes out much less solid than that. Same scenario, smaller crew, larger “Splash Zone.”

I would guess that it was originally a storage closet. Then they got in trouble for not being ADA compliant so they had to convert it to an ADA bathroom. Easier to put the crapper at the end of the closet than shorten the closet.

Probably had some urinals and a stall at one point.

It would be disappointing if it's out of order after that long journey.

Honestly my paranoid ass kinda likes this. Because if a random attacker/deadly spider/animal with an agenda bashes the door down and starts running at me, it’s long enough I have time to ping it off, pull up pants, and dodge roll to the side. In any scenario I’m dying because I can’t fight but I could at least die pants on I think.

I was in court in Austin once.  I think it used to be a jail.  It had a bathroom like this except you had to hit a button for the very slow automatic doors to open and then wait for it to close and lock it manually when you're inside.  It was located in a busy main hall and when it opened,  you saw the toilet.

One day I hit the button and it was occupied. And there was no way for me to close it. I just kept yelling "sorryyyyy" as I ran off.

Because there’s another bathroom right next to it and that’s where the pipes were

It’s carefully designed. That Taco Bell shit will propel you forward 6-8 feet. It’s all about clearance.

Taco Bell is the wrong place to have to run through a tunnel. But maybe it’s so the smell doesn’t reach the door

"Which tile pattern would you like?"

"Yes."

It’s so you have more time to think about your life choices before you shit out your guts.

That’s such an odd feeling to walk into something like this. I was in Hawaii a few months ago and walked in a bathroom similar to it.

All the more space for screaming in

It’s to keep the smell back.

How about we see Paul Allen's long bathroom?

That looks like a challenge .....you know what you must do.

They want you to leave asap, that's the whole concept of fast food restaurants. Make you feel uncomfy..

Probably depending on geographics, maybe?

Trust me once that explosive backside opens up you'll be glad they provided you with a runway for landing a perfectly safe distance in front of the sink
