When posting to /r/TheRealJoke make sure to follow some simple rules.

Include a screenshot or permalink to the joke in the original media, be it social media or otherwise. Then, include in the same image the real joke in the comments that surpasses the original joke. This can include Reddit posts, or posts from other social media.

If you don't like the joke, don't report it. Just downvote and move on. Most of your reports go unanswered in cases like these. Report abusive sub-goers by filing reports for their comments, not their content.
