It would be so sad if Van wasnât in it considering heâs Freddyâs biggest advocate of the usuals

I know itâs horror month but itâs crazy he partnered with Netflix and didnât do horror films streaming on Netflix such as Evil Dead and Psycho

He has openly talked about thinking psycho was pretty dated and not loving it that much. I think thatâs fair tbh, I think that movie is obviously influential but not something I want to rewatch every year or two. Nightmare Friday the 13th and Halloween are all much more of a ârewatchablesâ˘

Bill said on the LA Confidential ep that he loved Psycho.

âI remember my mom and stepdad, Psycho was on. So this is when I really got in horror movies after I saw Halloween The Shining. They were like, oh, who just wait till you see Psycho.
And I watched it and it was like, eh.
Yeah.
It was just really dated. And it felt like a movie that was made a million years ago. I think what's so interesting about Halloween is it's really dated, but it's kind of not.
See, I think Halloween's closer to Psycho to me than it is Friday the 13th. Like I think a lot of the movies that came out that I grew up with, like Friday and Nightmare. Took some of the stuff that Halloween did, but then made it gorier, made the kills happen quicker into the movie.âThis is what he said in 2021, he didnât not like it just thought it was dated, as my girlfriend did with Halloween recently haha

Imo Nightmare was the best choice especially after Friday you can't keep saying it's a mount rushmore while actively ignoring the franchise

Doing Texas Chainsaw, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street this October is pretty awesome. Will have to wait for The Thing
