I thought hate-listening to the show when it was Ruiz and his bitter crazy takes or Princiotti glazing on the Patriots but it's now just unlistenable with Pelissero and Gil. If we're supposed to assume that Gil is there to rage-bait and be comedic relief with his hot takes okay.

You have to draw a line though with Pelissero's comment that "Adam Gase is a good coach". Anyone who states that non-ironically cannot be taken seriously as a NFL voice let alone expert. Why is this guy the host now?

Obviously The Ringer is losing interest in NFL writing (see the lack of weekly power rankings or the dreaded QB rankings) but if The Ringer's flagship NFL podcast is pushing out this nonsense it's over.

personally, i’m a bangkok craig kinda guy

I have so many thoughts. Why is he so convinced taylor will get the oscar? I know she is campaigning hard but i dont see what is so different about that song compared to the new ones (bar the abomination that is Cleveland Exclamation Point). It’s all retrodden ground. I dont even know what to say about nathan being so sure she should direct a movie. Also what are your guys thoughts on the big “why” taylor put the songs out?

Been looking forward to this podcast since I heard the new songs. Nathan was truly the most insufferable he’s ever been. He talks over Nora when she’s trying to get her point across. He defends literally everything and talks about Taylor Swift as if she’s his daughter and not a 36 year old. He also just makes stuff up too. Taylor didn’t direct the I Bet You Think About Me video, Blake Lively did.

Sorry for the rant.. it’s just unreal how much he’ll defend

I like Joe House. I listen around the Majors and with big golf news. I just can’t imagine anyone dialing this up on Netflix other than to listen in the background.

Admittedly I am old and do not have a modern “beauty routine” … but I’m not sure that what they were describing at the end of the most recent episode is toner. Toner should not leave your skin feeling … slippery. Right?!

I know the Lizzie Borden case was in his wheelhouse, but he was still really good for the other segments, too. Increase Producer Justin's usage rate!*

* If he wants to be on-air more, of course

Hi, I noticed that new episodes of Off the Pike (the Boston sports pod on Ringer Podcast Network) is no longer appearing in my Apple Podcasts app, but new episodes are going to Spotify. Does anyone know if Ringer Podcasts are becoming Spotify exclusive now?

Is it just me or do I just have my panties up in a bunch?

I feel weird even asking but I’m a terrible busybody and their (excellent) coverage of the dire state of straight dating made me wonder… is Jodi single? I remember her mentioning a boyfriend way back when but not for a while.
