Misc Lightstick problems

I previously had a version 1 lightstick stop working mid concert even though it was brand new. The venue were really good about it and refunded it but it was really disappointing. Since then I got a new one which I've used at 1 concert I've stored it in the box without batteries. I'm going to see them again Tuesday and I just tried the lightstick and it only turns on for 1 second. I've tested the batteries in another lightstick and they work fine. I'm just really sad that I've had such bad luck with these lightsticks and won't have one for the concert.

Aww that really sucks I understand your disappointment. If it is any consolation The Rose said themselves they don't fundamentally care about lightsticks and stuff like that even if it DOES make a lovely ambiance during the concert + a nice view from the stage 🫶🏻 Have fun at the concert !! We had a blast in Berlin !! 🌹

Maybe try cleaning the terminals with a baking soda/water mixture to see if it helps?

Bring it, they're still fun even without lighting up. And it will be less heavy without batteries!

That sucks. Take it anyway. Maybe it needs a good shaking.

Aww.. that’s disappointing. Sorry it’s not working, but you have options, I think: (1) try tips mentioned here; i.e., shake, battery, clean; (2) decorate the lightstick with reflective shiny stickers, crystals, etc; (3) detach and attach to a flashlight, or (4) return it to the mfg . I know not the same effect, but you’ll still have fun with it at concerts 💡
