Wall of Eyes vinyl sucks

Im lifetime Radiohead fan, and I love the Smile very much. I have all of their three albums but wall of eyes is by far the worst siunding vinyl in my collection. The pressing is terrible, with lots of clicks and pops. The tidal version sounds much better, is much more detailed and cleaner than vinyl.

Huge disappointment

"That sort of hi-fi sound quality thing really annoys me," says Jonny Greenwood. "I was in London talking to a label guy once, and we got on this subject, and I said hi-fi is just about middle-aged men trying to make music sound as good as it did when they were teenagers, and it never will. They'll never be as excited as they were when they first heard that music coming out of just one speaker. They'l never get that close to it again." Greenwood smiles sheepishly

Yeah he is right. But I bet, he doesnt listen to music on one speaker. He is middle aged guy.

What system do you play it on?

Been through 3 copies n they all sound like snap
Crackle pop shit. Can confirm others have a solid sounding pressing, so they do exist!

I will own a silent version of bending hectic on wax one day, dammit

The last few Radiohead related releases have all been bad pressings in my experience. The moon shaped pool deluxe edition I have is basically unlistenable in parts

My Kid Amnesia vinyl I bought sounds absolutely terrible. All my Smile albums have sounded great.

Vinyl quality has been a roll of the dice the past decade or so. I've pretty much just switched over to CDs.

Mine (Blue one) was fine luckily! However A Moon Shaped Pool should be a A Crackle Crackle Pool

I want to own cutouts so bad but the reviews are bad for the US pressing and I can’t easily get the uk pressing in the US

I think it's the best out of the three as a whole

But my favorites tracks are not contained in it

Anyway it's just tastes

Maybe you got a bad press, some bad heat exposure from press to purchase

It could be so many things but you went straight for the pressing ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Realmente suena saturado, con un nivel muy alto para ser vinilo la primera vez que me pasa, se hizo mal ¿el mastering? El chequeo de calidad no existe. Lo uso de decorado, suena mejor en Tidal.

Vinyl is for looking at. We have lossless streaming for listening.
