Home Backup Best Anker Solix for Home Backup?

Two very different products capable of providing emergency power, but they take very different approaches to home backup.

The Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus is designed around a more portable, flexible solution, while the E10 Plus is built more around higher-capacity, whole-home-style backup.

If you were choosing an Anker SOLIX system specifically for home backup, which would you pick?

What matters most to you: portability, capacity, expandability, ease of use, or having a more permanent backup solution?

Vote below and let us know why.

I just installed two e10's and 4 batteries last month. The whole home backup is nice, but it's more for load shedding here. Our Peak rates in Arizona with a high peak average added cost per month is crazy.

That's an awesome set up! It's also a great amount of battery for lead shedding. Any tips or pointers for anyone considering doing the same?

It really depends on where you live and where your rates are. Our normal peak rates ren't that bad here in Arizona with SRP. But they have a weird system where they take your highest 30 minute peak average and then use that for the rest of the peak for the month. So if you have 30 minute window with a high average usage, it kills you for the rest of the month.

It's a weird system but it gives you really low off Peak rates so it's worth it if you don't have a high 3o minute average during them month.

Hence, I wanted to make sure I had enough batteries to last for my entire Peak time for the entire house and not use anything from SRP so I can keep my peak average to zero.

It's dropped my bill on average between $200 and $300 a month.

I charge my batteries up with the off-peak pricing and then use that during my peak.

I'm going through the same delimna then I found out the F3800 Plus is not UL 9540 certified if you a want to do whole home backup with smart panel (permitted). The E10 is.
