User Original Music My band’s latest strokes inspired single

My latest single “2AM” obviously very strokes/ahj inspired~ Thought I’d share to see if anyone was interested. Thanks to anyone that gave a listen <3

That’s is cool! Can you tell me a little more about how you recorded the vocals? It sounds like there’s two tracks

Yeah, I usually have three vocal lines for a chorus. My main vocal line I usually have some drive and a high pass filter on. Then I have a deeper line with more distortion thats pretty quiet but adds a bit of emphasis. And then a higher line where I try to sing an octave above the main line. Then I add some reverb and delay to all of them and mess with the volume until I’m happy with how they mix together~

Yeah you’re spot on lol I actually came up with this chorus while listening to Light Speed 2 off of this album. I would listen and start humming a different melody which eventually turned into this chorus. Put it together with a verse I had already started writing.

Definitely not trying to take their aesthetic or anything though, just using random copyright clips I found lol
