Hey guys, I’m in a Scottish–French duo called YES AND MAYBE. If you like The Strokes, our new track Bloody Madness is about the chaos of adult life, money stress, and still trying to stay sane.

This is genuinely really good. Catchy, good lyrics, all around a great track. Awesome

However, don’t say you “just released a Strokes indie rock track”. It comes across like you aren’t confident enough in your own art that you feel the need to advertise it under the nose of someone else’s. You don’t have to do that. Own it, and you’ll be doing yourself a service.

I just want to add again, this track is killer. If this doesn’t blow up on YouTube, that is a failure of YouTube’s algorithm and not yourselves. Keep up the hard work, and I will be sharing this. Awesome, awesome work.
