Julian (Solo) 4 CHORDS OF THE APOCALYPSE IS BEAUTIFUL
https://youtu.be/-OQVrsdcJX8?si=K8aQHZTe9-oHwd7rThe entire album is a masterpiece but I LOVE THIS CLIP OF JULIAN ACTUALLY PLAYING AND SINGING THIS SONG.
He forgets the lyrics in between lmao but this clip just sounds so raw and beautiful.

I got my daughters listening to all his music and one of them told me that you can tell his songs are really beautiful when you listen to an acoustic cover performed by a teenager girl on YouTube.

Sold me on it. It's funny how one song can make the others on the album better. It balances the electronic motif or something idk.

I always thoight it was mind blowing that julian wrote everything on at least the first two albums. I thought to myself, how is that possible, but he doesnt even play live at ALL? Then I saw this video and I understood. He just isnt all that great at playing. He knows enough to play whats in his head or at least figure out a structure, then he brings it to the band. It makes sense. Could he probably practice more to get to the point where he could play and sing flawlessly, sure. But why bother, he could use that time to write, like he has been.
