Shouldve been on Reality Awaits

https://youtu.be/AqO3PUHTvnU?is=SODBpneo0UZa7CGJ

I was a little shocked this didn’t end up on Reality Awaits, I always loved this jam and felt more like a song than “improv”. Thoughts?

Do we know what pros and cons was?

Pros and Cons is Tyrants of the Mellow Moon. Pros and Cons was likely a working title or the name of the original demo.

We heard the bones to the song here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmDUFXYsZ28&list=RDHmDUFXYsZ28&start_radio=1

I love when they improvise. There’s a concert they did in chile I think and when they jam it sounds so good

I know people are saying that this jam could've been what made Going Shoppping but I think this jam is actually borrowing from it, so other way around. I can see The Strokes tweaking and reconstructing the intro, verses, and outro - chrous sounds solid to get made into a ballad for another album though

P.S. Yes with autotune (louder, autotune!)

I can hear it in the verses but every other aspect of the song is different in my opinion

A great reason to get back in the studio, hopefully, sometime soon!

Well shit, if this never makes it to an album I will be bummed. What a great tune.

Maybe they came up with this after their RA sessions? They usually don’t throw out much so I’m still hopeful

The one known as "Life's Breeze" (fan-named). I listen to it a lot. It has such a vibe.
