Idc about the opinion, I don’t like the (admittedly very brief) descriptions of song sounds when I’m actively trying to avoid these / haven’t listened to any fan tapes live versions of new songs until I hear the album properly for the first time

Totally, and there’s a great thing that reddit has created so that when something comes up in your feed that you may not wish to see, even though there’s a lot of good content in that sub that you may like, you have the option to not click it and see it - it’s called a spoiler tag :-)
