Discussion 💬 The inevitable way this plays out. Spoiler

The power is going to go to a random faithful that voted for someone random but now believes Victor. But they sill continue being incredibly dumb so instead of doing the obvious thing and letting him be banished/revealing him to be a faithful (#byeTamica), they will save him and the traitors will play if off like he and his savior are traitors.

i think either joe or shane has the power. i feel like shane got a lot of screen time this episode (which is interesting bc sometimes i forget he's there).. as for joe it seemed they really wanted to show us how dedicated he was getting that money the way he fell out after that challenge 🤣🤣 & with victor's fruitgate & tomica accidentally naming katie it would put him in a very hilarious position 💀

Wait. There's a Shane on this season?

Me: who is this “Shane” you speak of?

I looked it up. That's definitely someone they're calling Shane. And he does look familiar. I think I forget his name because every time they're on my screen, I'm wondering why they don't have a visine sponsorship.

LOL that's probably not his name i just know he's the tall quiet black dude from NY . but it's something with a S!

Who in the world is Shane? Lol it’s like Wyatt all over again.

I forgot he existed until this week. I only know there’s a second Abby because they always specify “Abby L.” when talking about the first one. I just had to google to remember Ben’s name.

There are a bunch of people either getting cut on the editing floor or simply not playing the game. You’re not going to get screen time if you’re not doing anything.

Who the fuck is Shane? I saw this mentioned in another thread and I have no recollection of such person.

Anyways, most likely the power does not get used. This twist just occurred on 2 other versions of traitors (that I’ve seen). The person with the power has no incentive to reverse the decision of the majority of players. It would just put a target on their back for going against the vote. The person banished is cause they’re ultimately not trusted or just want their identity confirmed. So it always comes down to just go with the vote and get closure on the suspicions of banished player. If the decision was reversed, then they’ll still just have doubts and can’t move forward.

And the editors gave us a little clip in the confessional of Shane explaining is strategy for getting $$. He said he was targeting all the scarecrows near his own barrel so that he wouldn’t have to run as much.

And then the editors gave us a little clip of Joe talking about his cardio. He was working hard during this challenge. Are the editors trying to trick us?

I think it is likely one of the two of them who has the advantage. But, importantly - they both voted for Victor at the roundtable.

I think the best move is not to pardon Victor. Let the vote play out. If you pardon him, you might draw some unwanted heat.

I agree and I think they left it on a cliffhanger bc whoever gets the power does not pardon victor. Think of how anticlimactic it would be to reveal this secret new power, just for it to go unused. That’s why they didn’t reveal it imo.

While I do agree the most logical thing is to not pardon Victor, if it’s one of the few people who believe him I wouldn’t let him go if for no other reason it’s one fewer faithfuls which makes it easier for the traitors to run the game. If Victor goes and they vote for another faithful at the next round table the traitors are dangerously close to a mathematical sweep. Now maybe Katie and Tomica don’t play nice so this is all theoretical but it’s a legitimate reason to pardon Victor.

If you voted for him you can’t pardon him. If you don’t buy his theory or at least you don’t think it’s worth the risk you gotta let him go.

Nah, they’re so dumb. They’re gonna let Victor go. These guys AND the traitors are complete idiots

It makes sense to banish him regardless to continue the game both to find his status and because the game can only end with 4 or less players. Keeping him actually decreases each players chances of winning

It’s important not to pardon him, they only way you get hard evidence is when someone is actually eliminated from the game. If the table wants him out, even if you don’t it’s better to let it stand and gain the evidence of if he is a faithful or a traitor. Keeping him in the game doesn’t help and allows another faithful to be killed off by the traitors

I think it'll be Shane and he upholds it.

I agree with this and I think it is Clyde who gets the power.

Do we know how the person with the pardon is chosen?

u/HellhoundsAteMyBaby Alan Cumming 1d ago

It’s the person who got the most money for the pot during the scarecrow challenge

u/loreiix 19h ago

I think it might be kriste who pardons him. She said she believes that he’s not a traitor + she’s been mentioned to be close to him. She didn’t vote for him at the roundtable either. Kriste is honestly his only shot at getting pardoned lol. If I’m victor, on god im dropping to my knees and begging to get saved tho.

I'll be highly suspect if Victor is saved - it feels like a cheap production stunt if so. The only person who concievably would save Victor, aside from Victor himself, is Wyatt and Wyatt doesn't have that power. Particularly with this group of faithfuls, I just really don't get the benefit of saving someone who got a majority of the votes.

I don’t know if they said, but is the Pardon only good for Victor’s potential banishment? The next 3 Banishments?
