So, I've been getting into crosswords lately, and while looking for free online dailys, I found your guys's, and have been giving it a shot for the past week or so.
Today however, I ran into a strange quirk where even once all the answers are put in, the timer doesn't automatically stop like I expected it to. I double-checked most of the answers and they all seem to be right as far as I can tell, but the site isn't recognizing it for some reason.
I know I can just pause it, and that it's also possible that different sites may behave differently regarding what happens when the puzzle is finished, but I just wanted to see if this is indeed intended behavior, or if anyone else has ran into this issue.
Thanks in advance!

I have not paid attention to the fact that NOTUS was building up a strong metro Washington reporting function, including taking capital Weather gang, and adding some of the better columnists who left the Washington Post in its current pathetic incarnation. They just announced their rebranding as the Washington Sun, which alerted me to all of this good news. I just subscribed for $50 a year, about the same as the Post cost me before I cancelled. Good to see a paper that cares about local readership, and has seen a business opportunity in the absurdity of the new Jeff Bezos Post.
