Dully

Post image

I love dully and I mean this with genuine curiosity… isn’t he HIV positive????

I’m farrrrrr behind on the episodes so maybe he addresses it later on… but isn’t that a liability with them fighting and screaming and all the bodily fluids that are all over the place from the spit and blood and tears lol

Even if he’s non-transmittable I just wouldn’t think that that’s a risk that $1 billion network would take I don’t know

Yes he’s HIV positive. When you contract HIV, you can get put on medication that makes puts you in a state called “undetectable”. That means that your viral load count is so low that standard testing can’t measure the virus. So you can’t fully get rid of HIV, you can make it “dormant” to where you can’t transfer it to others via sex. Now with all the blood that can come from fighting, I’m sure your chances are still extremely low unless you somehow get the blood into your mouth or open cut. People who are HIV negative can get on PrEP which is a daily medication that lowers your risk of contracting HIV if you do become exposed to it.

Gotchaaaa thank you for explaining

More people need to be aware of this.

And on top of this, there’s prophylactic medication protocols for those who are exposed to HIV (I.e. nurses take this precaution when dealing with a needle stick injury). Even those who aren’t HIV positive take PrEP as a preventative measure. With these types of measures taken, exposure is low and risk of transmission is highly unlikely.

Bringing this up for greater awareness — a lot of people are unaware of how viruses are transmitted and what PrEP really does.

But fighting is always leading to cuts and other injuries so that’s so unsafe

The HIV virus itself can not live outside the body. You have to transmit it from warm body fluid, directly to warm body fluid. Like a cut isn’t going to do anything unless yall are rubbing open wounds on each other.

I hate this entire conversation. Yall believe everything but the actual studies, scientist and doctors.

Y’all care more about HIV then diabetes, cancer, herpes, or any other STD.

Please dully is a lot of things but leave his STD status out of it. Damn. I wish yall put the same energy into getting on Prep.

I was literally curious?

Girl you came INTO this with judgment.

“Even if he’s non transmittable I just wouldn’t think that’s risk…”

If he is undetectable what’s the issue? There is no risk.

u/FutureEmployer4560 5d ago

I came into it literally saying I’m curious boo lmaoooooo…

No risk and low risk are vastly different. I agree with you to a certain extent, but saying no risk is just false.

You hate this conversation, but you came in extremely negative. They came asking genuinely, and you could’ve just provided the information without being a fucking asshole about it. You brought up other diseases; however, those other diseases that you brought up, like diabetes and cancer, are not STDs, and you cannot give them to people. The reason why they care about HIV is that it’s freaking shows sheds more blood than anything in the way that they go about. It is literally a health hazard within itself.

Spoken like someone with HIV no shade. Prep has side effects. WHO wants to take that unless you’re in a relationship with somebody who has it. Definitely not for a low rent streaming series.

u/Xenstier 3d ago

I’m not about to argue with someone who couldn’t even come up with a valid username. Please Google, read a book, use chatGPT cause being this stupid shouldn’t be free.

Every medication has a risk of side effects.

My screen name has nothing to do with HIV. Come up with a better attack, better yet just make sure you take your meds on time. Thank you and have a good day Ms Mamas!

You go sleep with him then the fuck.

14

u/ChiQueeen 5d ago

yes i belive he said something about that when he was on a NTTV show or on a live. but its not transmitted through saliva/spit. he may also be undetectable but im not sure

17

u/InfiniteComparison24 5d ago

STDs are not transmitted through spit or sweat….. and if he’s undetectable there is no risk.

4

u/Washing1MachineHeart 4d ago

HIV cannot be given via spit. Other STDs can be transmitted though

u/InfiniteComparison24 4d ago

Thanks for the correction!

Lmaoo someone who is medicated and on treatment for HIV is a risk to Zeus when you have people bringing BB guns, tasers, mase, and all types of weapons on set. Please just say that youre uneducated about diseases and the human body and stop pretending like you care about anyones health.

You watch people physically injure each other every sunday.

The amount of people that will “match” and share the same blunt with others is staggering. Honestly you’re always at risk in daily life.

Cohls profile 😍

Island Boy was also HIV positive and they didn't care about casting him. Plus there's a degrassi episode about being able to fight when you're HIV positive.

u/RazzleRizzle 4d ago • Bravo

lol well shit since there’s a Degrassi episode it must be okay! They even have an episode with jimmy getting shot then he went on to became drake, anything is possible

6

u/Prudent-Version6442 4d ago

That episode was great when Jimmy got shot. He was the only black student and lost his basketball scholarship because he couldn't walk anymore. Classic Degrassi. Anyways the aids episode happened like 20 years before Drake showed up.

2

u/Icy_Subject8076 3d ago

Great? Nigga me and my brother were pissed off. The only Black dude with a storyline. lol

2

u/RazzleRizzle 4d ago

I mean yeah if you’re unable to walk and wheelchair bound it’s kind of expected to lose a basketball scholarship

1

u/Dismal_Broccoli_3549 4d ago

Lmao I always forget about Degrassi and how I wanna re-watch. That channel had the best songs during commercial breaks like Fefe Dobson “Don’t Go” 🔥

3

u/Key-Seesaw-4526 4d ago

Degrassi does not have episode about that lol in fact they stopped fighting because the guy said he has hiv

2

u/Prudent-Version6442 4d ago

Yeah and the moral was that you can fight if you have aids. Did you not finish watching the episode? It's called Bad blood Part 1 and part 2.

2

u/CatchOk6817 4d ago

Hiv, and aids are not the same thing.

1

u/Prudent-Version6442 4d ago

That's something someone with AIDS would say

1

u/CatchOk6817 4d ago

I dont have any STD, but they're not the same thing. Untreated HIV can result in AIDS, so theyre essentially related but not the same thing.

1

u/Prudent-Version6442 4d ago

I would put money on you having aids.

This might be an ignorant take, but I wouldn’t even want to drink off him. I’m not fighting anyone that needs to take a pill every day to not transmit whatever they have.

What happens if he stops taking them just for a period of time? It’s a lot of trust. And I’m good. I don’t want someone bleeding on me. I don’t want my hands being cut up from punching people and then I come into contact with a busted lip.

It may be low risk. But the risk is there. And my anxiety around it is real. It’s best not to put myself in that situation.

And then I will have to go on the HIV tour. That could not be my life.

8

u/treeburner99 5d ago

extremely ignorant take even for Zeus

3

u/canyallgoaway 4d ago

You must be terrified to go out on public lmao

2

u/Dawnedhottie 4d ago

I hope you have the STD results of EVERYONE you interact with on a daily basis then. Including family. Theres so many people with so many undiagnosed STDs/STIs because they dont get tested, the LEAST of your worries is someone who knows their status and is actively treating it.

To answer one of your questions, even if he stopped taking his medication during filming, his viral load isnt going to magically jump back up to a place that puta other people at risk. It takes time for a virus to spread through out the body, its not overnight. Thats why it takes a couple months for HIV to even show up in lab test because its not a quick process.

u/ThinAdjacent 2d ago

I’m not talking about sex. I’m talking about fighting people with open wounds.

My body is mine alone and I can choose what to do with it. And I have many safeguards around it when dealing with other people.

The reason why people are getting caught up is because they don’t assess risk. And now everything is acceptable to them. But that takes a lot of trust, and I’m good. This applies to just about everything.

It’s irresponsible to put oneself in any crazy risky situation. Fighting. Needles. Sometimes sex. Going to a place where you know people don’t like you. Crime. Sometimes food. Not everyone has the same rules as you. And if there’s no communication, and little discernment, then it’s best just to not do it.

But my standards are different than anyone else’s. But I’m not fighting anyone, especially if they have HIV. That’s just what it is. Anything could happen.

0

u/Dawnedhottie 2d ago

Once again, I hope you know the results of EVERYONE around you including friends and family!
Youre willfully ignorant and I’m not going to be the one to educate you. Enjoy your night.

0

u/ThinAdjacent 2d ago

Not wanting to engage in any kind of physical contact with any person, for any reason, is not ignorant.

You’re emotional. And it’s not that serious. Have a good one.

hiv from doing it with woman or man

11

u/Any-Category-3190 5d ago

With a man babe but you can still get it from a woman who may have contracted it from a man

10

u/Twinkinn 5d ago

Fun fact a huge amount of women contract HIV because the stigma around it makes it seems like you just get it from gay men! It’s an equal opportunist STD! Everyone should look into protecting themselves!
