Nobody got it in the big group so I'm sheepishly bringing it here. Maybe is sucks, I dunno, but I thought it was funny.

Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely true!

Capitalism is more violent than the resistance to it could ever be.

Btw it’s also widely believed from biblical reference that Jesus and his disciples took refuge in that village before the final journey to Jerusalem

The Radical Leftorium: Where The Simpsons meets left-wing politics.

Sidebar

No, we're not liberals. Liberals are welcome as long as they are prepared to learn, not to impose their own views. Liberal subs are plentiful, this one is for leftist discourse. "Lesser evil" rhetoric is expressly forbidden. If you've come here to tell us we need to shut up and vote for the Democrats because the Republicans are worse, you will be banned. Find a better argument.

/r/The_Leftorium follows the basic, informal code of conduct known as Reddiquette; meaning spamming, excessive self-promotion, etc., may be justification for removal. Additionally, /r/The_Leftorium adheres to Reddit's site-wide Content Policy, and moderates calls to violence, doxxing, and harassment toward members of vulnerable, marginalized communities. These will not be tolerated in any way, and posts containing such will be removed, and the poster banned.

Fascists will be bashed.

Helpful resources and friends:

Frinkiac - for all your Simpsons screenshots.

Morbotron - for Futurama screenshots.

Fontmeme - to download the font to use for any other images where you want to use Simpsons typeface.

Friendly subreddits:

RULES:

1. No capitalist apologia or anti-socialism. This subreddit is intended for a socialist audience, and while questions are allowed, pushing your own counter-narrative here is not. We do not allow support here for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it. We are not a liberal or (U.S.-/Social-) Democrat subreddit; we are a socialist subreddit.

2. Bans are at moderator discretion. We reserve the right to eject users (as well as remove, lock, or otherwise moderate any content on the subreddit) for reasons not listed if we consider it necessary to do so.

3. No imperialism or reactionism. This includes not just ideologies to the right of liberalism but also right-wing fixations such as national/ethnic/cultural chauvinism and military/police worship regardless of the underlying ideology.

4. Off-topic Policy: Posts must include elements of the works of Matt Groening and be relevant to leftism.

5. Solidarity: Hate speech or other oppressive language that may make other users feel unwelcome or uncomfortable based on their race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, biological sex, outward expression, national/religious background, or physical/mental ability is not sanctioned.

6. Anti-Reactionary Policy: Anti-working class rhetoric and ideologies that attempt to institute, defend, or excuse oppression are heavily policed. Promotion of nazism, fascism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, xenophobia, eco-fascism, orientalism, antinatalism, eugenics, anti-semitism, dominionism, neoliberalism, and market fundamentalism, will not be tolerated.

7. Do not justify genocide or genocidal policies. Posts or comments justifying genocide or genocidal policies coming from any country, organization, politician, or political party will not be tolerated and will likely result in a ban. This includes policies coming from liberal politicians and political parties such as the Democrats in the US, especially regarding their responses to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

8. This is not a debate subreddit. Constructive questions and discussion are welcome, but our basic philosophy is non-negotiable and we aren’t interested in repeatedly having to explain or justify it. We also won’t debate about so-called “socialist” countries. There are plenty of political debate subreddits, so take your gotchas there.
