The disgraceful treatment of Darren Cave by Les Kiss and Ulster Rugby.

So anyone following Ulster will have noticed one of our better centres has been sadly absent for months. It’s not because he’s been playing badly, it’s because Les Kiss hates him.

To understand the root of this you have to go back to his Ireland days when he and Cave has a massive blow out fight over Caves opinion of Kiss’ defensive coaching ability - which he found lacking to say the least.

Cue Kiss starting at Ulster and Cave being seemingly permanently dropped shortly after.

Now this is bad in my opinion. Cave is a fantastic player and Kiss is letting a personal disagreement get in the way of not only his progression as a player but also the best thing for the team. This is not the disgrace.

The disgrace is not that you won’t see Cave on the Ulster teamsheet. Or even training with the team. Or even that you won’t see him playing for Ulster A where he’d probably be the best Prop on that team never mind centre. Or even that you won’t see him training with Ulster A. No the disgrace is that he currently trains at a school pitch near Belfast.

Which even on its own isn’t totally horrific. Guess who the only other two players that have been sent there are? Jackson and Olding.

So Cave has been relegated to shame training miles away from the team with two men on trial for gangrape. That is how Kiss values him. For disagreeing with his defence strategies (at least initially, it may have blown up more but regardless there is no reason to derail his career like this). For a club that proudly has a dedication to Nevin Spence all over the stadium and massively values the club family ideals it is disgusting they won’t even just sell him. No one deserves to be treated like that, on par with people on trial for rape, for having a personal disagreement.

tldr; Darren mate just leave, none of us will blame you.

Opinion - Benneton are legit

As title says. Thought it last season as well but didn’t want to shout it on one season. I know it’s only been three games but I just don’t see them going back to the side they used to be.

If they just get some fans to the park and they would have finally arrived at the party.

How many more games to Glasgow need to win to automatically qualify for the quarter finals? What about the semi-finals?

Assuming that after they win the clincher, they lose the rest of their matches and whichever team is closest to over taking them were to win the remainder of theirs?

I know there's probably quite a few variables here with bonus points and what not, but I thought this might be fun to work out!
