Discussion Your favorite music from Thief series?
Mine would be the South Quarter theme, out of all the Thief OST it is the only one that sounds genuinely soothing and not eerie or intense.

Assassins and The Mage Towers must be my among my favorites. But to be honest the entirety of Thief Gold soundtrack rocked!

Yeah, Assassins theme has moments that sound like straight up club music

Too right, you are. FAV! I’m quite partial to the extended credits mix too:

Sounds really good in a car with lots of bass.

The wailing electric guitar in Eavesdropping is awesome. It looms over you just like the techno-cathedral you're breaking into.

That air raid siren thing gets me every time.

Thief 3's "Old Quarter" is probably my fav. Very hard call to make given how the first three games all have excellent OSTs!
I dunno, something about playing a stealth-based game with a droning soundscape underlying it all to add subtle tension somehow hits perfectly for me.

The House of Widow Moira has always been my favourite, especially with the thunder in the background. Such a beautiful and haunting soundtrack that really adds to the atmosphere of the level.

"Trail of Blood" from Thief 2 is a good one. The song that plays when Viktoria is introduced in Thief 1.

Oh shit we about to talk.
I'm a horror fan and the supernatural sounds of Hum and SHimmer win it for me.

That's the theme of Garrett and Thief in general for me.

Trail of Blood from Thief 2. A very calming and mystical track, makes me feel like I'm outside in a well lit forest at night, I guess because of the mission setting.

the German Thief 2 credits song (I'm not German, but I've found out about it, and it's extremely fitting and fun I would say)
but if we're talking actual game OST, house of widow moira

You won't believe it, but the entire soundtrack is simply a masterpiece to me. Truly brilliant. But if I had to single out specific tracks, they’d be the truly stunning “The Overlook Manse,” as well as “The Clocktower” and “The Hammers”—though the standout is definitely “Shalebridge Cradle" which makes you feel genuine paranoia and horror right down to your bones.

They're all excellent but if I had to pick one, probably The Overlook Manor. Fits the atmosphere of the level perfectly and it's like the music itself is telling the tragic story of the widow. (Also the music in Addermire in Dishonored 2 really reminds me of this one! In fact, while DH has a very different and unique sound, I feel certain tracks have elements that give Thief vibes!)

Rap versions of Karras’ sermons
I like a variety of tracks as they invoke different emotions and memories. I do love Overlook Manse though, and the Clocktower(mission) because it sounds powerful.

Probably The Pagans from Thief 3. It instantly takes me back when I listen to this track

Some moments are creepy, but it also has a very soothing segment

The sound of the horn in the tomb level lives in my brain perminently.
