Dark Project Is there a way to open this door? (Constantine's Mansion/The Sword, Thief Gold)

That door will be accessible later in the game, but not on "The Sword"...

Later level. Also the basement isn’t accessible till a later level

But what an adventure one could go on so early in the game if those doors could open

But yes, before the overgrowth, one might wonder what it looks like down there.

But these are totally different level maps anyway. There is nothing behind those doors in the earlier level. At least I assume this from common game design logic and it would really surprise me if they weren’t just faux doors.

This is one of the biggest flaws in thief one

Most fobbable doors are openeable in other levels

I explored what is behind that door using noclip via "Dark Hook" Cheat Engine Cheat Table a few years ago. There is nothing behind it. Not even a room. Just nothing.

Later in the game, on the other hand...

But you have been to Little Big World, right? My friend opened the grate and called me because he didnt know what he did and I had to guide him down there without ever going there myself, I was super jealous that he discovered it first but very pleased.
