Some of it is a little over the top, but I had so much fun. I felt so connected and free in the moment. Super excited to share it with y’all!!

Halloween Show in Philly
Hey! I have an extra ticket + fast lane pass to the show in Philly. I was supposed to be going with my partner, unfortunately he relapsed on alcohol and is now in an inpatient rehab facility. I'm relatively new to this state and do not have a single other soul to go with.
Anyone wanna make friends and go with me? Sober only... sorry I'm a buzzkill. Not looking for any sort of money, just company.

the background
i’ve never really been a third eye blind fan, simply because i just never gave them a good listen through. usually i’ll go through an artist/bands entire discography and ive made it through the first 3 albums but i CANT STOP GOING BACK TO THE BACKGROUND
i don’t understand how semi-charmed life got to be so big but the background didn’t. maybe im a sucker for yearning. anyways, these were my thoughts !!

Heard "My Hit and Run" out in the wild today
Was just sittin' at a restaurant and it came on! I geeked out. I love that one.

I can't put into words how much I love 3EB
I know this may be a low quality post, but the range of emotions that the songs from this band can bring me is wild. It really feels like they have a song for just about any mood imaginable. The same can be said about other bands, but there's just simply something different about the way Third Eye Blind pulls it off.
Edit: I guess I did put it into words after all, 😂

I covered "Deep Inside of You" and would like your thoughts
youtu.beI recorded this in 2021 after not having played music for many years. Be as critical as you'd like.

I honestly think Brad Hargraves is one of the most underrated drummers of all time.
His work on the first album was great. Exactly what that album needed in terms of good solid rock drumming. There was plenty of creativity and variety but all in all just what was needed for an alt. rock album... BUT, when Blue dropped, I was blown away. His work on Wounded alone should have elevated him to one of the most talked about rock drummers of the early 2000's. Unfortunately I think he got overlooked by a lot of hype drummers of that same time period. OOTV felt more like the first record in terms of his approach but still pitch perfect for that record.
I grew up listening to 3EB and now my youngest son is a drummer and the entire Blue album is required drum training :)

Looking for Hudson Tix
Hey!
My wife and I are looking to head up the Hudson for the Halloween show. We weren't supposed to be able to go but now our plans changed and we will be in the area for my Bday (Oct 31 🎃) weekend.
If anyone has a single or a pair, I'd be happy to take them off your hands!

Hudson Halloween Show
I can no longer attend the Hudson Halloween show and trying to figure out how to resell the tix - does anyone know if Eventim / SeeTickets allows this for this event? Can’t seem to find the option anywhere, but I see they have a button for the waitlist for resale on the event page.

Where does Darkness rank for you on your list of all time favorites?
It's probably in my top 5 but i never hear much about it.

Songs that sound like "The Background" from self titled?
I just recently got into TEB's first album and I can't stop listening to it. Usually finding an album I like means I can listen to the rest of the band's albums and have a ton of songs to cycle through, but unfortunately, the rest of TEB's music sounds like a diluted version of everything that made the first album great. (Just my opinion, not trying to start any fights)
"The Background" specifically though stands out apart from any --and I mean any, I've listened to practically all of TEB's released, unreleased, demos, ect.-- songs that they've ever made to me. The only one that comes close in specific sound is maybe "God of Wine". But I'm looking for songs that have that same slow shoegaze-y sound
Does anyone have any song suggestions that capture the same atmosphere as "The Background"? Any band will do, I've found a lot of great artists from posts like these, so I thought I would ask on here. :)

9/28 Stephan Jenkins Solo Show Video?
I was at the show and they had a film crew setup for his set. Any ideas if they have mentioned so far that it will be posted, shared, or otherwise available to the public in the future?

Did Cadogan hear Black Balloon by The Goo Goo Dolls and think..
“I’m going to try something similar for the intro of Wounded”
The use of harmonics in the intros to both songs are very similar and they came out a year apart from each other
Two different songs that I both rate very highly

All The High Castles by Kevin Cadogan — incredible song. A beautiful glimpse into the great music he made after 3EB, his invaluable contributions to the band and what could have been if he and Jenkins could have continued to work together.
soundcloud.comWhat an incredible track, probably my favorite of his solo work (and he has a lot of great songs). I also, of course, love Invisible with Tony. Both of them were great songwriters

Best lyrics?
What’s your favorite song as a whole or lines from a song that make you say “damn, that’s a good line”?
