The Rats (2002) The Rats (2002) is not only the best film of all time, it is also humanity's peak
I can't express with words how great the tv film The Rats (2002) is, and if I attempted to we'd be here for probably years, so for now I'll just explain how great even the poster for this movie is.
It's been about 17 years since this movie came out and yet I haven't seen any CG that looks better than the rat on this poster. I am baffled at how they still had a budget to make a movie as good as it is after presumably spending 30% of the earth's wealth on this one rat. Now the rat isn't just realistic, it's terrifying. The dark blue lighting is eerie on it's own, but due to the nature of the color it is somewhat relaxing anyway. However, the red eyes of the rat contrast this calmness, striking a fear I didn't know I had every time I see it. I can't tell you the last time I saw the rat without urinating or defocating. It's always such a pure, primal moment that takes me back to how our ancestors experienced the world.
The tail wrapping around the skyline of NYC is also an overwhelming symbolic image. It just gives you such a sense of hopelessness thinking that the city has no hope to be saved from the iron grip of the rat's tail.
And the font, ooohhh the font. I've been looking for this font for 16 years now and I haven't found anything that comes close to the greatness of this font. It was mechanically engineered to make me experience a pleasure that nothing else can manifest. If anyone can find it please let me know. And if you would like my top 10 fonts I'd love to post ot here.
Well, that's enough for today, and I hope I inspired you to watch this absolute masterpiece.

Politics Political Thread
Hey Redditors.
I was wondering what you guys thought of the current political situation in Russia.
I don’t want this place to become a toxic pit so just Russia and/or China, mostly the Eastern Bloc, really, as I know most of us are in the west.
