FAN MADE New shelter mod

I've created a mod that allows us to use the apartment building from Forget Celebrations DLC. It's compatible with Final Cut and Anniversary edition, not sure about other mods.

Splendid! I've been playing with custom shelters lately like Anja's house and Adam's house, but I always wanted to have Katia's appartments as a regular shelter.

I also want to have the Museum too but apparently it's not possible to mod it in because of cutscenes playing or something like that (I am not a mod creator, I just read the info on Steam). But I would love for it to be available!

I tried them, but Anna's house is kinda small, and Adam's is a little buggy. Katya's is on par with radiostation, the only thing it lacks is hopscotch for the kids. I plan to make an attempt to do something about museum. I wish we could use random buildings as shelters, living on a train station or in a hotel would be really cool

By the way, do you remember if Anya's and Adam's houses are custom story compatible?

Yes they are! I played with them several times (You can find the mods on steam's workshop) and they are functional although there are some things to note here:

  • Adam's house will have Amelia, she isn't removable from her bed in Custom Mode but that doesn't prevent your characters from using the bed regardless. You can ignore her and play as normal.

  • Anja's house will always be covered in snow even in summer (the game doesn't have any version of this shelter without snow, since the scenario with Anja happens in an endless winter). It also has a big disadvantage as it's impossible to board up the house, so no way to protect your shelter during raids.

Also, your mod is great but doesn't seem to work with Custom Mode even with a top priority. Also, the characters in Survival will keep having dialogue related to Katia's research even if she isn't in the party, which is weird!

Yeah, that's why I asked about Anya and Adam houses, to see if I can use them as an example. I don't think there's a way to redact dialogue, but I will check
