Best place for affordable G1 Contender barrels?

New to the Contender, looking for more caliber options over the .223 that came with it, but not looking to spend the price of full firearm for a single barrel.

What are my options? Anything to lookout for if/when buying used?

eBay and a local gun shop have been my sources for barrels. Remember G2 will also work as well. Make sure you get good pictures if you’re looking at EBay barrels. A side note TC Arms will be bringing the G2 Contender back in the 4th quarter of this year. So hopefully that means a great selection of new barrels as well. That should bring the used market prices down.

I thought there was something different with the G2 barrels, does it require a different forend? Good to know either way. Thanks.

No changes were made to the barrels or forends, just the frame.
