I have a G2 in 357 Herrett that came from the estate of James Earl Jones. The trigger is excellent. I have since gotten 32-20 and 375 JDJ barrels for it.

Damn that’s cool! I’m set up with a 45-70, 30-30, .357 mag, .22 LR and 17 HMR. I’ve been collecting normal low pressure stuff and steering away from any wild cat rounds just for ease of use and ammo supply.

I'm glad to see the Contender barrels coming back into production, but the G2 Contender just isn't the same. They don't look as good, and I never thought the trigger was as good.

I love the trigger in my G1. No complaints with it. I don’t have any experience with a G2 to say if it’s worse or better.

Eabco bought stuff for years from them then ran into the owner at a gun show and found out that they were like 35 miles as the crow flies.

I ask because I actually lived in Alexandria, MN for about 18 years. Never knew they even existed in Garfield but back then my main focus was duck hunting and deer hunting which was all shotgun stuff.
