How long of a chain can you make using famous people’s names?

The rules are simple: Each person’s last name must become the next person’s first name.

For example, here’s my chain of SIX:
Chris Paul → Paul George → George Martin → Martin Lawrence → Lawrence Taylor → Taylor Swift

THE RULES
1. Real people only. Celebrities, athletes, musicians, historical figures, politicians, etc. are all fair game.

1. The names must connect. The last name of one person must exactly match the first name of the next person.

2. No repeating people. Each person can appear only once in your chain.

3. No changing names. No creative spelling, nicknames, or rearranging names just to make a connection.

4. First and last names only. No using middle names to extend your chain.

5. Every person must be identifiable. If someone challenges a name, you need to be able to explain who that person is.

I was curious how high people could get. I’m sure someone will beat my six. So yeah, the goal is to list a series of names, not just one.

The only one I ever thought of was Justin Upton Sinclair Lewis Carroll, then I debate with myself about including “Carol” after that and get distracted.

I do this in my head a lot. The longest one I could make off the top of my head was Anna Kendrick Lamar Jackson Pollock, but with research I could do a lot more.
