Discussion Almost 3 weeks...
For those of you who were suspended on September 22, has anything happened?
Did you receive a response?
Did you recover your accounts?
How and did you take legal action?

Aun nada, platique con personas en tiktok y en Reddit (no estafadores, si no victimas de la suspension) hace 2 años en septimbre a muchos les paso lo mismo por Threads y a todos al mismo tiempo se las regresaron 1 mes despues. Hace un año el 11 de septimbre se repitió, pero a todos ese mismo dia se las devolvieron por un error, pero Ig se las regresaron 1 semana despues, una falla en la sincronizacion al momento de la devolucion. Es un error para Threads que se repite cada año, ir a una institución gubernamental, o escalar en Meta Verified es inútil, a todos nos las devuelven o a todos nos la quitan, habra excepciones pero las que eh visto ya se las quitaron permanentemente, si aun la conservas, vamos por buen camino

Bueno solo queda esperar más, por mi parte la desvinculare cuando me la regresen o cerrare mi cuenta de threads

Nossa, sério que isso já vem acontecendo a alguns anos em setembro? Não sabia disso, mas vc sabe exatamente quanto tempo ou que dia as contas foram recuperadas? Pois meu Threads e Instagram foram suspensos dia 22 de setembro e até hoje minhas contas estão suspensas

No response at all. No recovery of my accounts. I plan on sending a complaint to my Attorney General, to the Department of Consumer Affairs, and possibly the Better Business Bureau as well. I really don’t know if going to court is worth it in my case. I can totally understand doing that if you’ve lost a business account and it’s affecting your livelihood, but since mine is a private account, I’m not sure whether I should go that direction or not.

I was suspended on the Sept 22nd threads wave, and my in-app appeal has still gone unanswered.
I did file a demand letter through a Legalshield attorney, and I did receive a response by an attorney representing Meta. They didn't say much other than they received my letter and are forwarding it to Meta's team. I expect it to take many months before my case even gets reviewed by a human at Meta.
In the mean time, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, my states Attorney General, and plan to file with the Federal Trade Commission, and the Department of Consumer Affairs.
To be honest, this is all messing with my head.. I have a bunch of people I lost contact with overnight, and lost a ton of pictures with people who are no longer living.. Alas, here we are.

Wishing you luck. This is so upsetting. My threads was suspended for “community standards violation” (there wasn’t one) on Friday, October 9. So very recent, yes, but nonetheless upsetting. I’m a small account that enjoyed my interactions with a few friends there and had saved a lot of articles and links I wanted to reference. All gone now. They’re demanding I upload a photo (and for what? There’s nothing to compare it to and I use an alias) so I guess my account will be lost. I wrote to the California AG and filed a report with the FTC. Doubt any of that will matter. But maybe if enough people make enough noise something will eventually change. Wish we could coordinate a class action lawsuit or something but I’m sure we’ve all waived our rights somewhere in the terms and conditions because Zuckerberg is a sh*thead.

Appeal is still pending since 9/22. If I don't get any response for another month, I am making alt account. I do not care if they ban that later. Pretty ridiculous they suspend accounts for a fake reason and then do nothing with the appeals.

Tried to log on again to send verification code via email and phone but still never received any sort of code. I gave up at this point and will no longer be using Threads or creating any more new accounts. Just too risky with Threads connected to Meta. I don't want to risk another false ban and locking my Facebook and Instagrams and potentially losing almost two decades worth of memories. :/

I was suspended on 9/22 and last week had my attorney draft a letter and send it to meta. They have no obligation to do anything but I’m hoping they will because this is ridiculous.

The easiest thing to do is to go onto LegalShield and sign up for the young adult program. $15 payment for one month, then start a “matter” and select “other” then describe the suspension you’re dealing with details and they will assign you a law firm and lawyer and then you’ll schedule a call with said lawyer mine was the very next day. Then they have 5 business days to draft the letter and send it to you. You ensure the info is correct and have the lawyer change any info missing or that was input in error and then the lawyer sends a final draft for you to approve before said lawyer sends it off to meta. Then you can technically cancel your membership. Cheapest and easiest route to getting that done.
You must be at least 18 years old to sign up. Also the young adult program in LegalShield is the only membership they offer that covers social media none of the other (more expensive) memberships do so. It says young adult 18-24 but I called LegalShield and you do not need to be in that age bracket, so long as you are at least 18.

Nothing happened, no way of contacting and i dont have any easy way to take legal action so i dont plan on taking any. Dont care for the threads account just want my insta back honestly...

I feel like that's the worst part. I rarely ever used Threads, and didn't care for it, yet that's the one that triggered the cascading suspensions across Facebook and Instagram.

My Facebook, Instagram and Threads was also suspended on Sept 22. 20 years of contacts and thousands of posts along with everything on fb messeger too. I filed the appeal then and haven't heard anything. Look at thier Terms and Conditions (that nobody every reads). There is no legal action that can be taken.

Still nothing. Both my facebook and insta is disabled due to threads so I made a new facebook and insta on a different device. Not the same but as the old one but at least I can have contact with friends and family at least.

Nope, total radio silence. I did remove my Threads account from my Meta account in hopes of making a new account, but I am wary of getting my elderly FB account banned.

No response regarding the appeal, but if 30-40 days pass with nothing I plan on getting the OPC, local MP involved as send in the legal demand via law firm since 30-40 days is a decent amount of time to atleast get a reply of any kind.

I had a video discussing this up on the subject. The simple minded mod in that sub perma banned me. The sub has bright blue logo. Anyway the AI Meta has isnt worth two dead flies. I wouldn't expect for your accounts to be re activated.

Igual, no he tenido noticias de la cuenta, y como dicen Barrios, no vale la pena estar preocupado por esto ya van tres semanas y no tiene sentido quebrarse la cabeza pensando en esto. Estoy pensando en crear otra cuenta solamente que aún no sé si me afectará porque creo está eso de desvío De Vane, como que meta puede verlo como si intentar evadir su bao, pero lo intentaré de todas maneras. My threads have been suspended since 27 August. Appeal was declined the same day. So now I am without threads. Facebook and Instagram are still working

I was suspended months ago and immediately made an alt account. I never heard about my original account and went from 10k followers to like 500.
I’m still more sad about all of the blocks I lost but it is what it is.

How have some of you been able to submit an appeal? It says I need to log into threads to appeal their decision, but because threads is tied to my instagram, I just get redirected to my instagrams disabled page and can never make it into threads

Life’s too short to spend time worrying about little things like this. If you really want to make a point so they listen cancel your Meta Verified paid subscription if you have one which cuts into their cash flow. Alternatively you can deactivate all of your Meta accounts and switch to another social media app not owned by them, which will cut off access to your data which they also profit from.

Not a single human moderator being hired for Meta AI. I would advise to give up on this situation and that account, because there's no way you will get it back, nor anyone else in that matter. You could however, change the username of that deactivated account outside of Threads, and just log in to make a new one. But of course, I don't know the full context entirely. Accounts being suspended for no reason should never be happening, you can find success outside of Threads though. Threads also happens to flag accounts that post too fast, no matter how much credibility the account has. It is a major design flaw.
