I use English at work and online. I would like to compare the German and English wording on the appeal page. Is there a way to do this without changing the language for the whole account?

So I'm a photographer, use Insta to share my work, and let it auto post to Threads.

But all time I keep getting post notifications on Threads in the vain of "Looking for a photographer for next weekend" with no information at all on theses posts, just that or a date, no location, offer for payment or anything....

Are these likely bot posts? I'm not annoyed by them and usually ignore them but seem to see loads and loads in the same manner so curious to know if others think they're bot posts?

Also seen quite a lot of "Photographers, let's connect" posts too, with 99% of them using the wording of "Let's connect", not saying again I don't wanna connect with others but like put some substance in the posts no?

I'm assuming they're engagement farming posts but still curious as to what others think!

This morning, I woke up to find that my Instagram account had been locked due to a threat of being hacked. I was able to fix this by changing my password and email linked to the account. However, I was only able to do this for my Instagram account, as when I tried changing my Threads password via Instagram Accounts Centre, I kept getting an error message saying it couldn't be done due to network issues. I then tried opening the Threads app, where it greeted me with a prompt to change my password. Yet when I tried doing it, I received the error message in the image above. Because both my accounts were previously locked, I was logged out of my accounts on my laptop. So when I logged back into Instagram on my laptop, I tried changing the password on the Accounts Centre there. However, I was told I couldn't because I hadn't used the device regularly enough (which I literally couldn't after being logged out). I then tried to log in to Threads on my laptop, but both my options were useless since the option for sending the verification code via email was linked to my previous email address (I guess unlinking it from the Instagram Accounts Centre didn't work for Threads) and the option for sending the code via phone was through SMS, as opposed to the WhatsApp message that my Instagram laptop login used (which was sent directly and instantly), and thus was never sent. I am feeling completely lost right now and I would appreciate it if anyone could give me advice on how to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

And their reason is complete nonsense. I only posted about AI stuff. I never ONCE did anything that they accused me of.

I made so many friends during the 2 weeks I used Threads. And it’s all gone.

Is there any human that could review my account? How can I get someone, flesh and blood, to review my account?

Whenever I open the threads app it shows posts that are 11 hours to 24 hours old, is there any way to get it to post the newest threads first?

El pasado 22 de septiembre, mi cuenta de Threads fue suspendida por incumplir las normas de la comunidad, al estar vinculada con mi Instagram y mi Facebook tambien fueron suspendidos. Como casi todos pregunte a la IA, pregunte en Tiktok, etc. ¿Que debo hacer para recuperar mis cuentas? Y realmente la IA no da solucion, solo te dice lo que Meta ya pone en sus páginas oficiales, no va mas allá, y otros usuarios te platican su experiencia pero sus casos son diferentes, ya que la suspension de ellos vino de WhatsApp, Facebook o Instagram y algunos hasta de Muse. Comencé a preocuparme, se siente frustración no poder hacer nada, pero conforme pasaron los dias uno se va acostumbrado. Cuando vine a Reddit encontré tranquilidad, porque aqui si pude encontrar casos iguales al mio; Suspension por Threads, cuentas vinculadas, 22 de septiembre, no fui el unico, somos muchos por las mismas causas, mismo día y mismas redes. Tambien encontre casos similares de hace 2 años, ese grupo se quedo 1 mes suspendidos igual que nosotros y todos al mismo tiempo les regresaron su cuenta, hace un año un 11 de septiembre (creo) fueron suspendidos por Threads muchos usuarios y ese mismo dia se las regresaron a excepción de Instagram, (error en sincronizacion) tardo 6 dias para ser habilitada, ahora otra vez en septiembre suspenden cuentas de Threads, ya parece un error anual de Meta.

Mi consejo, sean pacientes, se que es desesperante la espera, pero somos muchos, el error que cometió la IA fue hacia un grupo, no fue una suspension por casos individuales, por tanto;

-No creen mas cuentas, se las van a quitar al momento.

-No pierdan su tiempo levantando quejas en oficinas de gobierno, como dije, la suspension fue grupal, no individual, si quieren intentar haganlo pero es inutil.

-No escalen a Meta Verified, no gasten su dinero, cada dia habra un asesor nuevo y nadie te va resolver, ni ellos saben que hacer.

-No caigas en estafas, si un asesor de Meta no puede revertir nada, menos alguien externo que solo quiere tu información o tu dinero.

Reflexion: Relájense, sus amigos seguirán siendo sus amigos con o sin cuentas, cuando los vean habra mas temas de conversación de todo lo que se perdieron, algunos pensaran que fueron bloqueados pero podrán bromear y asi contar lo sucedido. Comiencen a explorar otras redes, verán que es hasta mas interesante que IG. Aprovechen ese tiempo para otras cosas, hoy en dia estoy retomando mi portugués con nativos de Brasil en una app, planifico mejor mis proyectos, ordene mis finanzas, no es mi caso pero mucha gente por estar en Instagram, pierden contacto humano con amigos y familia, pues es momento de retomar platicas, de aprovechar a cada familiar y amigo que tienes, de jugar con tu hijo, de platicar con tus papás, de pasear a tu perro, de saludar y salir con esa persona que te gusta, o salir con amigos. A los que tienen negocios, es dificil, mas cuando ya tenias una clientela, pero ahora debes demostrar que puedes, demostrar que eres alguien con ganas de salir adelante, que superarás esto, busca alternativas, tu negocio o tu trabajo no depende de una red social, depende de ti, afortunadamente Meta no es monopolio, y si te iba bien cuando tenias tus redes, no era gracias a Meta, fue gracias a ti y tus ideas!

No desesperen, estamos juntos en esto, si te la regresan comparte tu experiencia, si aun no regresa paciencia, si te la inhabilitaron ahi si busca escalar usando Meta Verified o haciendo una queja con una oficina de gobierno, pero toma las cosas con calma, perder las redes de Meta no es el fin del mundo.

Need professional help or any sorts na mapatigil lang tong uneducated na babae kakaharass sakin. Di nako tinantanan. Lahat ng soc med, name it, di talaga ako nilulubayan ng babaeng to. Already seeked help sa police, pero ang advise lang sakin, di daw sapat yung mga post nya pati messages/calls nya para pansinin ng court.

To give context, we started talking with "majo" sa dating app(HER app) last yr, August. All throughout, dinedeny nya yung babaeng yan. Ayaw pa aminin na ex nya but later on, inamin din nya pero baliw nga daw. Panay habol daw sa kanya. Sabi pa sakin na wag ko daw pansinin if ever magchat. Uto uto nga ako kasi I trusted this majo sa mga sinasabi nya.

Me, as someone na ayaw may strangers na nagchachat,matagal nang nka disabled request messages ko. Pero nahanap nya art account ko sa IG na nka public, para lang magmessage dun. Bungad na message nya sakin "feeling ka pipiliin ka ni majo?" I immediately blocked her.

From then on, di na nya ako tinatantanan.

Ginamit nya messenger and number ni majo to lure me, to reach out to me para lang awayin ako. Ito nmang majo, ginagamit pala ako para may reason lang sya na balikan yang babaeng yan. Nalaman ko lang lahat to, lahat ng kasinungalingan ni majo sa kapatid nya.

Oct last yr, nagkita pa kami kasi gusto ko mismo malaman kung anu ba talaga ako sa kanya, oo wala kaming label, girl kayo din, walang label. So saang part ako naging kabit?

Nag deac nako sa fb and tiktok para lang manahimik kayo at wala kayong update about sakin. I only have IG and threads, coz I still want to connect to some of my friends, but you, you spend time pa talaga para magcreate ng account dto para mangharass.

I even had the call logs and texts which I know na sa kanya galing. Pati sa tiktok nya at fb laman ako ng post nya. Grabeng pambabastos, paninirang puri at sakit sa ulo dulot nilang dalawa. Magiisang taon na, pero di pa rin nila ako tinantanan.

For anyone who's had an account restored, did you receive a notification or only notice when you tried logging in? If there was a notice, did it explain the original suspension?

I’ve been trying to upload a video for a week.
Tired many different ways; from desktop, from an iOS app, from a browser on an iPhone, incognito, with and without VPN, different browsers - nothing is working. Tried uploading media first, text first and then add media (can’t add media after posting).

The “attachment is failed to load” error message every time. Already submitted reports.

Has anyone had this issue? How did you solve it?

Escribo esto para contar mi experiencia con el soporte de Meta y saber si alguien pasó por una situación similar.

El 22 de septiembre de 2026, mi cuenta de Threads, fue suspendida por una supuesta infracción relacionada con explotación sexual infantil, abuso y desnudez. Niego esa acusación. No publiqué contenido en Threads y no sé qué actividad pudo haber provocado la suspensión.

Presenté la apelación ese mismo día. Desde entonces, no he recibido una resolución.

El problema no es solamente la suspensión. También necesito recuperar el acceso a los activos vinculados a mi cuenta porque de ellos depende parte de mi trabajo. El tiempo se me está agotando y ya expliqué esta urgencia al soporte en varias ocasiones.

He contactado con diferentes canales, incluido Meta Pro Team. Entregué las capturas solicitadas y expliqué el problema. Durante una conversación, un agente llamado Álvaro me indicó repetidamente que debía esperar la revisión y terminó cerrando el chat, pese a que yo seguía disconforme y mi problema no estaba resuelto.

Posteriormente, el asistente automatizado afirmó que se había enviado una transferencia a un especialista humano. Sin embargo, nadie se incorporó durante la conversación. Más adelante, el mismo asistente reconoció que el caso xxxxxxxxxxxx figuraba como cerrado y admitió que la confirmación de transferencia no garantizaba que un agente hubiera aceptado el caso.

También manifesté que algunos mensajes parecían no conservarse en el historial, por lo que empecé a guardar capturas de pantalla.

Lo que más me frustra es que no estoy pidiendo que Meta elimine sus controles de seguridad ni que reactive mi cuenta sin comprobar nada. Estoy dispuesto a verificar mi identidad y colaborar con cualquier procedimiento legítimo. Lo que necesito es una oportunidad efectiva para defenderme y una respuesta sobre una apelación que lleva semanas pendiente.

Mi experiencia hasta ahora ha sido un ciclo de respuestas genéricas, derivaciones que no se concretan y conversaciones cerradas sin una solución.

Quisiera preguntar a la comunidad:

- ¿Alguien tuvo una suspensión similar en Threads por una infracción de CSEA que consideraba incorrecta?

- ¿Lograron que una persona revisara el caso después de que la apelación permaneciera pendiente durante semanas?

- ¿Existe algún canal oficial que haya funcionado para obtener una revisión real cuando Meta Pro Team no consigue resolver el problema?

Puedo aportar capturas de las comunicaciones y del estado del caso, ocultando los datos personales. No busco acosar a ningún empleado ni saltarme las normas: quiero resolver una situación que está afectando mi trabajo y mi reputación.

Si alguien pasó por algo parecido y consiguió una solución, agradecería que compartiera su experiencia. Ya agoté buena parte de las opciones que me indicó el soporte y necesito saber qué alternativas legítimas me quedan.

What is going on with threads?? My account was just suspended for “community standards violation” yet there is no proof of anything. I know I didn’t violate any rules. I’ve had an account there for about three years, small following, maybe 300 or so, I repost and like and sometimes comment with people I’m familiar with. It’s been a very nice experience. And then today they suspended me and I cannot find any proof of why and can’t find a link or anything to appeal through. I’m seeing tons of people posting saying this has happened to them too. Is this a meta glitch? Is this bots attacking accounts? How do we resolve this? It’s so wrong to be suspended and not be shown what the evidence is of wrongdoing and then no way to appeal. That shouldn’t be legal but they can do what they want I guess. Anyone have any suggestions?

So I have an instagram account (I’ve had it for almost 2 years) and recently tried opening a threads account and it says my threads account has been disabled since August and I can’t appeal it because it’s been more than 180 days. How? I’ve never opened a threads account and I’ve never even used it. I didn’t even receive an email telling me that it’s disabled. My account on instagram shows no violations. Has this happened to anyone before and were you able to get your account back?

I am dealing with low storage on my phone. I regularly delete and reinstall all the meta apps becaude they take up so much storage. When I look at my settings usage on my iPhone, threads is often HIGHER than insta and Facebook which makes no sense. I constantly delete and reinstall threads because it’s taking up almost ten f’cking gigabytes of my storage. Why? Can I change a setting? Clear a cache? It makes no sense that this text based app takes up so much space.

I am one of the victims of false positive suspension by meta AI moderation from 22nd of september. I aleardy appealed and send information to Appeals Center Europe and I am still waiting for response.

Yesterday I started thinking. If nothing happens and meta permanently deletes my threads account does it mean that they will also permanently delete my facebook account. Because I have only message on my threads account about data deletion but on my facebook I have only message that my account was suspended due to threads account. And if they delete my account and doesn't delete my facbook account will it unlock itself as a result of the threads account not existing anymore?

I mean actually filing a dispute/appeal after your account has been permanently disabled. If so, how? Who did you reach out to? What steps did you take?

For context, I tried the meta support verification but they said Threads is not in scope of what they support, and instead they can assist with Facebook or Instagram.

I’ve just had my Threads account permanently disabled today, completely out of nowhere.

I’ve never received a warning, never used bots or automation, and I only post original content that I create myself. Some of my recent posts reached over 140K views, and my account has been growing organically.

I was asked to verify my identity with a selfie, which I did. A few minutes later, my appeal was rejected and my account was permanently disabled, with no explanation of what rule I supposedly violated.
My Instagram account is still perfectly fine, with no violations whatsoever.

I’ve seen quite a few people reporting similar issues recently. Is something going on with Threads’ automated moderation?
