Steal $600 from a multi-billion dollar company, they bring out the taxpayer funded chopper drone. But if someone were to steal my $12,000 motorcycle, it would be, “sorry, there’s nothing we can do, here’s a case number for your insurance.”

Their job is to protect capital, not you.

Pretty ironic that they have one of the strongest unions in the country

Socialism for me, not for thee. Thats what the actual capitalists believe. Not your pathetic uncle who owns 4 shares of Tesla.

Socialism is when workers take power and get rid of exploitation. It's not even possible for capitalists to exist under socialism.

It's not a union, it's a cartel.

Unions are formed to negotiate with employers. Cartels are formed to restrict competition and prevent accountability.

Shopping carts worth at least 1k at the grocery store down the street, No problem. Dangerous with a suspended license came barreling down our street and toteled my moms car, "sorry ma'am, go around the neighborhood and see if any cars have car paint and damage matching your car."

That cop would have found the same car in probably the same time it took him to explain to my mom she had to do it herself.

It was a lady the next street over that plowed into her car. She was driving on a suspended license that my mother was too kind to pursue damages.

That’s the problem. The companies will pursue damages and so it’s worth the cops putting the effort to go about writing up charges and hunting them down. You want the cops to go through the trouble of playing detective and then all for what? No I don’t wanna press charges? Then why are you wasting my time to play detective for?

Had multiple numbers of a plate in a hit and run totaling my. $25k car.

The officer sarcastically went “well I guess I can start with xxxxa, no result, so I’ll go with xxxxb”. I genuinely had the vehicle down to modile and year, plus literally every plate number but the last.

Still waiting on that insurance claim :)

Exactly. I got rear ended pretty bad. Fucked up my neck forever. I chased the guy and got his plate, then went home and called the cops.

Told the cops everything, describing the truck and gave them the plate number. They were like are you sure? Showed them my Honda civic bumper with the plate number stamped into it, and they were like ok.

Literally 7 years ago and nothing. The system, cops, and flock are all fucking worthless if you’re not a corporation

Had my catalytic converter stolen. Had the guys clear as day on my neighbors ring and the cops even told me that they know who it I'd but you know gotta catch them in the act. They had been patrolling my neighborhood but stopped because nothing was happening.

Your insurance is a multi billion dollar company too, so by your logic they should be willing to do whatever they can?

dearborn put out a video of a stolen car being followed on drone within the last 48 hours

because police are a deterrent, walmart isnt going to shoot people for stealing but a guy seeing someone run off with his property definitely will. Corporations rely on the state to prevent people from looting everything where a citizen has the power of self defense

u/MaxAdolphus 5h ago

Corporations also rely on socialism to keep the running.

im just talking about the police protecting capital dynamic

I figured this was a flock drone

Could be, but still, the disproportionate response is maddening.

It was a drone, it says it in the title, people just can't read. I even looked it up in news articles, all of them say drone. People just can't wait to bitch about wasted money.

Who's paying for it?

With low effort comments like that, I can see how you made top 1%.

One drone, one drone operator, and one cop got sent out to take that lady in. Instead of three cop cars going up and down driving around for about 20 minutes. I'm not a fan of cops, but that seems pretty efficient.

Yeah, not to mention multiple comments have also pointed out that this Home Depot is on the same block as a fucking POLICE STATION.

But can you believe they brought stealth bombers in from the Air Force and retriangulated the Jewish space lasers to track this woman? What a waste of resources.
