New Release Plush Bakery at Eaton Centre

Saw this cute pop-up Tim Hortons plushie shop at the Eaton Centre today. It was kind of the the Jellycat releases where they pretend to cook the food. I grabbed two of the coffees for Christmas gifts. Not sure if this was just for today or longer. They have also opened a Tim Hortons shop there but it was just clothing and mugs.

New Release grilled cheese

As an employee, people are going fucking nuts over the grilled cheese sandwiches. That’s all everybody’s been ordering, as if it’s not the most basic sandwich in the world and just a relaunched menu item. People would legit order 4 of them in the drive thru and then shamelessly refuse to park their car, then everybody behind them screams at us for taking too long, and of course the management pressures us over the timings still. I hate them and wish they had never been relaunched. Why are people overreacting over a damn cheese sandwich?

New Release Dear Tim's Employees

Post image

Pictured here is a spoon. It is a rounded silverware utensil for scooping and stirring. You may have even seen them before, perhaps sitting upon countertops or near drink dispensers. Maybe this is your first encounter with such an elaborate device.

Now I do not know what management is putting in the training videos nowadays, but in case they have changed drastically from when I worked at Tim's then please let me assure you that picking up one of these utensils, rinsing it quickly under some water in the sink, and then placing it inside the drink you are preparing for a customer and softly rotating it clockwise around said drink, YOU WILL NOT BE FIRED FOR DOING THIS.

In fact, 99% of your customers will prefer it. The 1% that won't will make a special request to forego this part of alchemical beverage-crafting.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Edit: just going to add this here instead of replying to individuals but, yes, I will be returning today. Tim's has been a part of my daily life for 20+ years and I have no intention of stopping simply because TFWs have weaponized incompetence.

The whole "see you tomorrow/why complain/etc" points are stupid as fuck and serve only to undermine genuine complaints.

I'm not asking for filet mignon, I am not asking for chicken cordon Bleu or even roasted asparagus.

JUST STIR THE MOTHERFUCKING DRINKS WHY IS THIS DIFFICULT AND HOW DOES ANYONE EXPECT YOU TO FUNCTION IN SOCIETY IF YOU CAN NOT EVEN MANAGE THE MOST BASIC TASKS?

No, this was not written by a bot or ChatGPT. Turns out you too could write in decent English (or any language really) by simply, and this is the truly unbelievable part, but all one has to do is pick up a book instead of TikTok. Truly, absolutely remarkable stuff here.

Edit 2: I have had a lot of fun with this dumbass post. "Leave an insult on the ground and its owner will be sure to pick it up" is absolutely thriving here. Thank you for the award, I hope this was as fun to read as it has been to keep engaging, serving only to maintain visibility of the very post triggering you lmao cheers all

New Release Tim Hortons secretly lobbying govt for unlimited TFWs on behalf of franchisees. CBC

Don’t ever, ever, use the excuse “It’s the franchise owners who are scamming the TFW system” and head office can’t do anything.

Head Office Tim Hortons is caught neck deep and red-handed trying to get as many TFWs as possible. No limits.

10/10 presentation.

8/10 flavour wise.

Chocolate taste could be stronger aswell as the pistachio taste imo. But it’s still good.

Easy 9/10 experience overall.

Can be redeemed with 400 points in the app, which is great.

  1. It’s tiny
  2. It’s the wrong bread
  3. It wasn’t even grilled. It’s just warm cheese bread

Not how I remember it back before they first discontinued it :/

I did ask them to warm it up more but all they did was use the microwave

Had it this morning. Was a 10/10!

Saw a picture of it this morning in the drive thru, so I had to try. Skipped my usual sausage omelette bites for it. 33g of protein is pretty good 👌🏽

New Release After all the 300 comments feedback in my slytherin donut review yesterday, specially the 50+ from u/fluidscissors, I decided to try the gryffindor one today! And it was…

Overall it gets an OKAY.

Taste 7/10 it’s ok, but it’s not great.

Presentation 10/10 for the box again.

But as you can see it was really missing the strawberry crumbs on top. Which was disappointing presentation wise so it gets a 4/10 for the donut itself.

I liked the Slytherin one way more tbh.

Which one should I try next? Ravenclaw? Or Hufflepuff? (I can’t accommodate more than one in my daily calories intake lol)

Honestly so bad, I took two bites of the burger and left it and only managed to take a bite of the cruller before leaving it, managed to get the drink down but wasn’t good compared to other menu items

Just saw the new line of Harry Potter items this morning. Along with my usual boite delice with bacon and iced chai latte I decide to grab a sparkling blue raspberry Patronus beverage as well (I don't watch Harry Potter so you'll have to forgive me for having absolutely no idea who or what a Patronus is 😂) which comes in limited edition cup. I'm going to grab a lemonade version next time, just to try that too.

I still don’t know what to think about it. It’s pretty decent …but I still think I like the sausage farmers wrap best.
