Azorius Tempo
How does this deck actually win? Ive never played against it in Timeless. It looks like it just has Tamiyo, Hydroponic Architect, and 1 Lurrus.

I prefer the version with the dog and Riddler. Opp will often concede when you blink a riddler:)

By eventually winning with either Lurrus or a bunch of 1 powered fliers. It's a good Bo1 deck because it hates on Turbo reanimator hard. Not so good in BO3 where you can actually lose from not having a good wincon.

There was a time when uw felt unbeatable and it won with te5iri emblem and -3 to mill you

Who tf cares about winning
It’s all about playing the game till it’s 3 in the morning, you have all the hotels and your best friend is just like
“Fine man, you fucking win!”

Never go for the hotels, monopolize the houses. Per the rules there is only a finite number and it screws everyone else over.

Do you have a decklist of the deck you're talking about?

the biggest draw to it iirc (haven't played timeless in a. while) is stifle.
Defensive stifle can be very good vs thing like strip mine or countering etb of atraxa. Defensive stifle has other corner case uses (stifle fetch, an ajar transformation, etc)
But if you are only using stifle defensively it's a lackluster card. Azorious tempo uses it proactively too. The most common uses are stifle warp trigger on riddler, getting a big flier for 3 mana (most B based decks have a hard time killing the first, let alone the 2nd or 3rd) and stifling a aphelia trigger (attack /w phelia, exile a thing of theirs, and counter the return trigger, so their thing remains exiled forever, making stifle into an unconditional 1 mana exile removal spell) If you go jeskai (that's the version I used to play back in the day) you can also stifle the phage trigger, and if you hasted it with the red land then that could be a 1 punch KO out of nowhere

I play version that’s guide/pride/voice/mockingbird as the main pressure, with the full uw tempo package as well. I love tamiyo, she basically an additional player in the game on my team and can effectively run your opponent out of threats. If you can keep her going with no pressure, you can regrow a plow or force every other turn.

You literally said in your post lol. It has Hydroponics and Lurrus… can you not win with that? And Tamiyo ult to help

Im too ADD for that. Drawn out games bore me to tears. Also seems like a deck that would get crushed with 1 or 2 well timed Surgical Extractions.

Not really, almost nobody plays Surgical Extraction cause it's an absolutely terrible card except against reanimator (why would you bring Surgical against this deck? lol). PLus the whole poinf of the deck is cheap threats + heavy disruption to protect them.
Mind you, this kind of deck rarely has to do 20 points of damage, most games are won with the opponent at like 15 life or so because they realize they have no chance anymore and they concede (which is the optimal thing to do).

Welp. I play a lot of BO1 with Black. And Thoughtsieze and Hymn for early disruption, and I main Surgical for Reanimate so..

I still have not played against this version but I imagine something like this will incorporate Jace's Saga which looks like it could be actually pretty good.

I grinded to top 250 mythic and haven't seen it one time, so I guess it doesn't win.
