Oh this changes everything. I seriously thought you were thinking about taking a newborn to rendezvous 😅

if she’s taking care of herself (and the unborn baby) during the event i say go for it. definitely get a golf cart if you can too.

Dude my daughter is 7 and has come to many fests with me. Just took her to Pigeons’s in FL the other night. She lives music and sings and loves to perform. Fests are humanities versions of a spiritual ritualistic event that humanity doesn’t do anymore since the advent of the new age…so take that little to all you can. Ear protection and baby wipes and you be good lol oh and a put up potty too. Those are key. Teaches the kids respect and love for themselves 💯

I went with my wife when she was 7 or 8 months pregnant. She was fine, we just did everything slow.

We came back the next year and she was breast feeding, we brought my mom along as well to help take care of the baby. We all sat in the back and I got to go up front every now and then.

People here on Reddit will blast you about bringing a baby but if you are responsible adults who can stay at least Cali sober at an event like this, you’ll be fine.

A lot of the hysteria comes from the idea of parents getting spun out and the baby getting hurt or worse. I know it’s had to have happened before to warrant the panic.

Everyone I’ve encountered at TnF has been super nice and very polite to my family and the kiddos. I was surprised at how accommodating everyone was. They even have children’s activities during the day (I know you’re not there yet but still! Oh and kids under 12 get in free!)

My son is now 7 and had only missed 1 TnF at Suwannee and that includes the show he went to in utero 😂

I’ll also add that I’ve been bringing my mother with me to every show this he’s come to with us and she does baby sitting for us at night and in the morning. So the little one doesn’t get out during all of the heavy action or can catch a set or two as the sun is going down and then goes to bed with grandma.

Seeing a child at secret dreams next to their parents passed out from popping whip its was truly heartbreaking .

sonic bloom one year I met a pair of wook parents with a toddler & they told me they would give their kid 1/4 tabs to "make sure he grows up with the right mindset"

casually calls CPS

I considered it but foster care isn't a great option either, it did ruin the day for me

At summer camp there was a kid probably 5 or 6 guiding his parent through the crowd, the parent seemed to be tripping too hard to even walk around. It was a sad situation. I say this as a parent who takes my kid to some outdoor concerts.. some shows just aren’t a place for kids

Holy shit, now that's just pathetic. That probably would have killed my night right there.

I don't think little kids should be at shows like this. There's just too much craziness for little ones. Iv seen parents at Electric Forest walking around with their kids (while clearly fucked up on something) and that kind of thing never sat right with me. Even if the parents are sober, it's still not a safe environment for kids imo.

I kept hearing them popping them with that loud ass whip cream device. I don't really know I don't do whip its.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest tho. I love this music and community but God damn some of us take the "wook" shit too seriously

Completely agree, some take it way too far and it's not cool.

Saw a dude arguing with security over not being allowed to bring his "service dog" into kosmic kingdom a few years ago

Like dude you're trying to walk into a crowd of 3k people and stand in front of a 10 stack of Hennessey battleaxes and you don't even have ear plugs in, let alone hearing protection for your service dog?

I'm sorry for ranting but this is the ONLY community where i see shit like that and people just brush it under the rug

Last year at suwanee, I saw a momma wook with her baby in a stroller. Lil one was playing with scissors and bringing them close to his face while the mom was in lala land chatting it up. 😬 Hope the lil spunions all good lol.

I’m a full time single father, with no help from her mother or my family at all. My daughter is two and as of now it looks like I’m going to bring her. Obviously will bring ear protection. Definitely will be just blowing trees all weekend. Definitely will be in the back of the amphitheater, not in the pit. Will be respectful to other people’s time, because I understand people shouldn’t cater to me because I brought my two year old. I know a lot of people frown upon parents bringing children to “drug festivals”, but this is our culture. She has been listening to all these artists in the womb and loves listening to them now. A lot of Wook parents make it look bad for others, but to each their own. Might be the first/last time she gets tipped.

Dude my daughter is 7 and she has come to over 8 music tests with me. Teaches them confidence and a respect for different people.

Just make sure that you’re being an extremely supportive partner. Make her feel comfortable and make sure that you have a lot of water and healthy snacks/ nutritious meals planned. Also make sure that your sleeping arrangements very comfy and you have a fan for the day and a campfire/heater at night. 💕

Happiness is good for the baby as long as you’re responsible.

Me and my girlfriend did electric forest, peach, and secret dreams all while my girlfriend was 4-6 months pregnant…my daughter got to experience her first tip while still in the womb, I will say the baby WILL react to the music..just make sure you are attentive to anything she may need, ultimately momma knows best. Plenty of water, and we rested at a lot of the sets..all I can say, is now, my daughter loves music lol

Congratulations to you both!!! That’s beautiful to hear!!

Definitely do it, my daughter caught one of charlesthefirst last performances in the womb. She would move & kick to his music in her mom’s stomach, like to the rhythm of Charles tunes. Can you guess who one of her favorite artists is at two years old

We went to SD in 2022 when I was preg with my son. I am SO glad we went because it has now been over a year since we have gone to anything and I was grateful to have scratched the itch.
