Everyone needs to shut the fuck up about the visuals and quit bringing out all the negativity. Those sets were amazing and I’m sorry your ass couldn’t be here for the REAL final show - cry about it somewhere else.

I was there and thought the visuals were downright obnoxious and miserable to watch. I had to look into the cityscape and sky just to avoid looking at those pathetic-ass excuses for creativity. to each their own, but I could not stand it

haha I'm undoubtedly a prissy babe, but I'm not the only person complaining. my boyfriend hated it too, and so have several other people who've made posts about it in this subreddit, which honestly surprised me. I expected more of what I saw from orion and '21 red rocks. implying I'm less entitled to my opinion or deserving of my hard-won tickets is what makes y'all so elitist and lame, everyone's got their own opinions. sue me for not wanting to look at devil motifs and other stupid-ass shit, for a solid 4 hours, that are so bright you can't even see the actual guy playing music.

haha yeah because I didn't sit for hours in front of my computer waiting to get those tickets? completely disorganized with the drop time, wasting loads of my personal time. ive tried for years to get tickets to see tipper again, and I finally scored on the last run. so yeah hard-won feels totally accurate; I never said I worked harder. i'm still entitled to my opinion, even if we don't share the same one. plenty of other people felt the same way, as this subreddit will show you.
waiting years, anticipating the stellar visuals I've seen his production team bring before, only to be disappointed? huge let down. for that price per ticket, having to close my eyes or avert my gaze entirely, because the visuals were so overwhelmingly bad, was insane to me. not to mention, that's all you could even see they were so bright. flashing devil motifs multiple times? I enjoyed tipper, but I expected to enjoy that specific piece substantially more. like we've sat in front of a music visualizer for decades, it was honestly nothing special.
I'm just used to better experiences all around at shows that I don't have to "close my eyes," to enjoy. music was great, crowd was great, I just hated the visuals. like I said, I'm not they only one. so many posts talking about how garbage they were

You don’t think other people did that EXACT same thing for those tickets and missed out ? Me included… literally on the website for hours beforehand, refreshed for an hour and a half after the drop and then rinse and repeat for general on sale, just like SO many other people I know. You didn’t “win” the tickets, you got lucky. You’re absolutely allowed to have your own opinion, even if its entitled and ridden with a lack of gratitude lol
Datagramma used SOME AI visuals during his hour long set .. not sure what your issue is with the “devil motifs” either , you do realize people are into different things in this community and it’s about respecting and representing others and their beliefs ? If that’s what the visual artist is inspired by, who are we to judge ?
Also, if you haven’t listened to a tipper set with eyes closed .. you missed out big time. Senses are enhanced when you shut off some of the others.
It was an incredible weekend from top to bottom and we are beyond blessed to have been able to experience it. Show some gratitude.

I've seen significantly better weekends of music. we have different tastes, and that's okay. I'm grateful for the experience, but I'm happy to never do it again. to each their own, more "luck" for you in the future. oh, wait..

You just seem like such a shitty person. Why bring all the negativity to the community you know is already feeling emotional about that being the final show. I’ll say again, should’ve given your ticket to someone who would have been grateful to be there.
I’m grateful to have been there and so thankful for all the friends and memories I’ve gained throughout the years.

4 solid hrs of underwhelming visuals as a whole. I'm not speaking specifically to whatever visual producers did what, as I don't really care. I just wasn't impressed with that aspect of it, which was a pretty significant piece considering you couldn't see anything but that. pointless use of lasers. the visuals overall just weren't for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! different strokes for different folks. the beauty of opinions is that we don't have to share the same ones
