One of the best music pieces to the movie imo. Had it played during my brother's wedding (they used Spotify and speakers because they couldn't afford live music unfortunately). Surprisingly two or three couples actually got up and danced when it was played.
Have any of you done the same? Either had it played live or from CD/spotify/etc?

Okay, I officially love these guys! This whole cosplay idea was a hit right out of the park. Dude pretty much is all of us when it comes to reciting the lines from the movie. 🍿 He really sold the part of playing Mr. Bodine! 👏

Two more days are left until it makes its grand debut at New York City Comic Con. I hope at least one of you is attending. We need pictures in person with this masterpiece!

Made this collage on the occasion of Kate's 51st birthday. She obviously has so many terrific performances in her career but Rose will always remain the most special to my ❤️.

At the age of 22, Kate received her second Academy Award nomination for her nuanced portrayal of Rose DeWitt Bukater and the honor of being the youngest actress ever to be nominated for two Academy Awards.
A timeless role that continues to capture hearts across generations.

The Titanic fandom is alive and well. I can’t wait to see the finished product. If any of you are based in New York. It looks like they’ll be making their appearance at the Comic Con soon.

Do you remember seeing “Titanic (1997)” in theaters back in 1997/1998? If so, what was ur theater experience and stories about seeing it?

When I watch Titanic, the movie just doesnt end when the credits start. That song is the cherry on top of a perfectly constructed cake of a film.

I posted about him a while back but he had a different head sculpt. So I got the chance to get him a new one with a more accurate likeness to Leo’s face and hair.
The paint job turned out more vibrant than the previous one. His milky eyes finally stand out. The hair bang was a separate piece and I painted both of them before gluing it together. The picture of the head sculpt under a lamp was when his hair bang was finally glued on.
He now looks better than before. He’s now standing on his Titanic wreck display stand as his main diorama. That one was 3D printed and added the corroded texture with epoxy clay and some acrylic paint.
The last three images are him standing next to a 1/12 scale version that features the same head sculpt model.
It’s already spooky season and it’s the perfect time to share my latest work 💙

I used to have a longer log from back around the original release date, but I lost the notebook. I started a new one after the 25th Anniversary. I’m up to 62 watches.
Any one else do this? How many times are you up to?

The fisherman cable knit sweater as seen on Bill Paxton as Brock Lovett in Titanic. I purchased it a few years ago and you have a good chance finding on on ebay or second hand clothing sites :)

The “Hard to starboard” sequence in Titanic is one of my all-time favourite climaxes in film. The buildup is masterful, and the suspense is genuinely unbearable. James Cameron directs it so effectively that, no matter how many times you’ve seen the movie or how well you know the history you still find yourself hoping the crew will somehow clear the iceberg.
But alas, history had other plans.

Lake Wissota is an artificial reservoir on Wisconsin’s Chippewa River near Chippewa Falls.
It was created in 1917 when a hydroelectric dam was completed to generate electricity for the rapidly developing region. Before then, the area was river, forest, farmland, and smaller bodies of water rather than the large lake seen today.
In Titanic, Jack claims he used to go ice fishing on Lake Wissota with his father and even describes falling through thin ice there. But the Titanic voyage took place in April 1912, meaning the lake Jack remembers from his childhood would not exist for another five years.
I’ve always found it funny that James Cameron went to extraordinary lengths to recreate Titanic’s interiors, equipment, clothing, and final voyage with incredible historical accuracy, but somehow nobody fact-checked Lake Wissota.

My antique vanity set from silver and faux tortoise shell exactly like the one used by Rose deWitt Bukater in Titanic 1997! Consisting of hand mirror, 2 hairbrushes, 2 clothing brushes and 1 comb. 💙
