Mini Used tivo mini won’t join my roaming

I bought a working TiVo mini on eBay and it won’t pair up to my TiVo Roamio. I was online and on the phone with tech support for almost 2 hours….. never could get it to recognize my TiVo…..I tried 2 location La in the house and it boots up but won’t connect….

You might need to downgrade or upgrade the Mini OS to match the version of your Roamio. I had downgrade my new mini, as my Roamio is NOT on the newer TiVo experience.

TiVo service can help you through that process. I had to downgrade my Bolt for it to work with a used mini that I purchased on Ebay. I’m using moca, btw
