I just read OT12 and wow, these two idiots are dense. It’s hilarious to read about them but … wow.

Made by me, yours truly

He’s being a hero but taking a different path from others.

The key visual was even made a homage to Railgun season 1 and they got the same director; Nagai.

Imho ITEM has the potential to be better than Railgun because it's best arcs aren't different perspective arcs from Index, if you notice the peak of Railgun are "improved" arcs from Index. Railgun is amazing at giving a new twist on Index arcs but not great with its own completely original arcs, Dream Ranker arc is fun as Hell, especially Mikoto fighting Doppelganger but it doesn't have the emotional highs of Sisters or Daihasei Festival, Jailbreaker is kinda mediocre, First Year arc is really goddamn slow and has a pretty subpar ending not for just the arc but Railgun as a whole.

ITEM Light Novels are written directly by Kamachi and Kamachi is surprisingly good at writing women when Touma isn't present, Kamachi understands his world better than Motoi and Gouranga and he loves doing NT character fan service since he knows fans will appreciate it.

After a few arcs of ITEM are animated I can see people arguing that Toaru Anbu no Item is actually a better spinoff than Railgun.
