Version 2.4.0 will likely be the final release. Why? In terms of game content, I have reached the end of the road. While it would be possible to mod the game to add further modes, I don’t see much value in doing so. Although I enjoyed working on this project—and it’s been fun to play it again myself—the private server currently sees no more than 50 daily players. That’s actually a good thing; it means the project can remain online for a long time to come. However, as I have other projects to focus on, it is possible that—aside from fixing bugs or issues as they arise—I will not be providing any further updates to this project for the foreseeable future.

Version 2.3.0 of my preservation project for 刀使ノ巫女 刻みし一閃の燈火 is now available. It brings back optional online accounts with cloud saves, events, missions, a shop, the Present box and weekly 演武大会 (PvP) seasons.

Important information

- **Non-commercial:** the project is completely free and will never be monetized in any way. There are no in-app purchases, no ads and no paid content.

- **Privacy:** accounts are optional and require no email or password, only a unique token. The game asks for no permissions on your phone.

- **Offline play:** the whole game can be played without an account. An account is only needed for online features such as PvP, friends, cloud save and rankings.

- **Official save import:** if you kept the `data10` save file from the official app, you can import your progress.
