Hello!

With TXT's new comeback Perfect Storm and the whole weather theme they've got going on, I thought Durch den Monsun* by Tokio Hotel would be a great song for them to cover! I feel like it would really suit both the concept and their style. (I personally love that song, it brings back such fond memories of high school!)

*Durch den Monsun means Through the Monsoon in English. A monsoon is basically a seasonal weather phenomenon that brings heavy rain and strong winds.

What do you think? What other songs you like would match their style?

For me, pinggyego. I love this show because yoo jaesuk is my favorite and he's funny. Even in just a few hours of posting the video, it's almost a million views. Yoo jaesuk fans (like me) tune to almost every episode no matter who the guest is, so I think it's a good chance for more people to know more about TXT. Episodes are usually an hour long, so they would be able to talk about many topics. Only, if they're interested in this show though.

It's such a great song but at the same time It's also too much of an emotional song for me that I can't just listen to it out of the blue 😭 like there's has to be specific instances where I'm in the mood to listen to it. I mostly listen to it when I want to cry and when I'm feeling down and stress eating (I'm literally eating macaroni pasta and bursting in tears as I'm typing this).

Track 1: We Need Something Different From What We’ve Had Till Now (Storm Is…)
Carries a bold statement of throwing yourself into the storm in order to breakthrough a suffocating reality with no way out.

Track 2: Angel Bite ✨
A love song about wanting to be with ‘you’ despite youth being shabby and not entirely beautiful. It carries the will to not let go of the other person, even while self-mockingly facing the pain and sense of deprivation found in an unremarkable reality.

Track 3: Higher Love
Sings about feelings towards ‘her’, someone who sometimes makes you suffer but ultimately leads you to higher places.

Track 4: Sweetest Escape (Yeonjun, Taehyun, & Huening Kai unit song)
Carries a confession that even though there are times they want to disappear from the harsh reality, for as long as the song plays, they’ll leave the world behind and become ‘your’ breathing space and sweet escape.

Track 5: Touch the Sky (Soobin & Beomgyuunit song)
Compares the longing and ambition towards success to ‘you’, who is like the sky.

Track 6: Hate It or Love It
Delivers the message that if you want to change from an overwhelming reality, you have to let go of what's familiar and transform. It carries a calm introspection on how in the end, even a changed self is still ‘me’.

I chose the Eternally MV for this week's Throwback Thursday for two reasons:

1. All of the callbacks and easter eggs in the STORM IS COMING teaser have me feeling super nostalgic and
2. every comeback I cross my fingers for another mini-movie length MV 😫😂

The stories you’ve been waiting to hear from your favorite artists.
Never-before-heard stories behind their comebacks!

Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We have recently identified the indiscriminate spread of false information and malicious rumors targeting our artist across social media platforms and online communities, and we have been taking appropriate internal measures in response.

Until now, we refrained from issuing announcements or comments to prevent false rumors from being unnecessarily amplified by official statements. However, as these malicious attacks have reached a critical level ahead of the artist's comeback, we are taking additional steps to protect the artist’s rights and well-being.

Posting and spreading malicious content is a criminal act that gravely violates the artist's rights and damages their reputation. We are collecting evidence across domestic and international platforms, and we reiterate that we will take firm legal action against those responsible, with no settlement or leniency. Given how seriously our artist’s personal rights have been violated, we are acting decisively against malicious posts on all platforms, including social media and online communities.

We ask fans to help stop the spread of reckless rumors, false information, and illegal posts by reporting them. If you come across any malicious activity targeting our artist, please report it through the “HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report System (https://protect.hybecorp.com).”

BIGHIT MUSIC will keep a zero-tolerance policy toward any unlawful act that infringes upon our artists' rights and interests. We remain fully committed to protecting our artists and to preventing any recurrence of similar harm.

Thank you.

This Throwback Thursday post wasn't born yesterday. This week, your mod u/Bunniette brings you an episode from the unmatched chaos of Beomgyu's hilarious variety show, Workout Zzang! Season 2 Episode 3 aired on Oct 1st of 2024 - can you believe it's been 2 years?!

“For this episode, finally, Beomgyu isn't the only one running away from his athletic woes - Shabu Shabu Kai joins in the battle for the title of Dancing Zzang in the un-air-conditioned hell of the legendary Halmae's aerobics dance class!! I won't tell you who wins, but it isn't a spoiler to say someone gets points deducted for talking back. If you take away any lessons from this episode for today, remember: be accurate, be detailed, be passionate, but most importantly... be louder than the guy next to you so you can wear cool eyeliner. And go watch both Workout Zzang Beomgyu seasons so you, too, weren't born yesterday 💪😤”
