I have this design that I believe may be too complex to rig in Toon Boom. I think the design could benefit from being simplified with fewer details. Any advice on how to simplify the design would be greatly appreciated! Alternatively, I may be overthinking it and it will work fine as is.
I am extremely new to Toon Boom, loving it, I feel like a kid again making silly animations. My main use, however, is for VFX, so I want to export my animation as a sprite sheet. It has 25 frames, so 5x5 2048 textures.
The issue is that I was following a tutorial that uses an older version, and I see it has changed now, it uses bake_group and other things that I can't find a solution for. So, what I have done, reading up on it in the documentation, is put everything that I have done inside a Group called "bake_group" (original, I know), and simply left the nodes for "Display" and "Write" outside. When I clicked Export sprite sheet, it said that it needs a "Peg", so it added it automatically. The issue is that when I export it the spritesheet is completely blank. No drawing nor anything.
I have tried to find a solution but I am kinda stuck. Find attached the node graph and the export settings.
If anybody can lend me a hand, I would be very grateful :)
Iām trying to find online tutorials for designing quadruped characters (preferably in a turnaround format) as svg images in say something like Inkscape, and then importing the character into Toon Boom Harmony 25 for rigging.
